At 3PM GMT twelve days from now, someone will be on TV to speak about how this is the season of goodwill. That was certainly showed when that someone prayed with someone else: which would have been anathema to certain others between the Reformation and three years ago. That was when - after a certain ceremony, and prior to leaving the place where it happened - said someone met with not only a Catholic Cardinal but a senior Imam: even the Chief Rabbi of that country. But even then, said someone referred to themself as ‘the Defender of Faith’: as opposed to those before, with the first word between the the third & fourth. But then, there has been goodwill between that time from when that someone left the Church of England’s central place of worship Westminster Abbey and that traditional speech on TV twelve days from now. And before then, just a few months go, said someone who is head of the C-of-E praying with the Catholic Holy See’s Pope Leo XIV. That someone being the Protestant King Charles III. Gee:

So, I have not nor intend to ever watch any Saw movie, but isn’t Jigsaw just some arsehole who puts people into death traps in a twisted attempt to make people appreciate their life more after a brush with death, victim-blaming those who fail his self-mutilation puzzles? In other words, a completely different, even conflicting, modus operandi, powerset and motivation than what Ishida is going for here?
