In 1963 the Italian film Omicron was released. It was about an Alien taking over a persons body to recon the planet for a future invasion! DEMON POSSESSION! It was produced by LUX Films which translates to Lucifer!

In 2013 the movie The Visitor from the Planet Omicron was released. Plot? An alien comes to earth with a botanical virus, but a gutsy Arizona widow wins him over with her garden-fresh cooking, and then tries to topple the corrupt government that put him up to it.

I have a feeling that the first film meant the alien to be a villain, while the second film thought to subvert the expectation of Pure Evil. In other words, Lux wasn’t trying to champion anything remotely Luciferian.

It sounds like the paranoid schizophrenics looking for modern hidden messages in old scripture. Um, no.
Lux translates to ‘light.’
Lux itself is a unit of measurement for illumination. Which makes all sorts of non-symbolic sense for a movie company.
Lucifer is sometimes called the Angel of Light, which was used as a pun in the Lucifer series. Is THAT why you think lux=lucifer?

“Lucifer” translates to something like “light-carrier” or “light-bringer”. I think it used to be a name for the planet Venus, to which the name “Morning Star” also hints.
