Friends -- Today is the anniversary of January 6th. That is, Jan 6 1941 when FDR, in his State of the Union address gave what is known as the "Four Freedoms" speech: Freedom of speech and expression, freedom to worship God, freedom from want, and freedom from fear. Were FDR alive today, he would find his own Democratic party unrecognizable and its treatment of freedom in America, well, deplorable.
Since you will hear highly politicized characterizations of the events of January 6th 2021 in the mainstream media today (and certainly from Biden's speech) intended to stoke fear and constrain freedom of speech and debate, I thought I would send along the below. A good friend sent me an email yesterday with a link to a video on the timeline and events of January 6th 2021, which I found thought-provoking. I hope you too find it thought provoking.
