Male inclusion in the women’s category
And there it is, yet again.
The trans-hostile bullshit that anyone can just SAY they’re trans and nobody, not even the authorities, are allowed to ask for more evidence than the person’s word for it, ’cause that would be transphobic.
I just recently had a very nice talk with a researcher in biological sex differences in humans. Apparently, across multiple parameters, there are only very few that show significant differences in either average (body hair, height) or variance (aggressive behavior and MAYBE intelligence) between the two ends of the bimodial sex spectrum in humans (aside from primary sex characteristics of course). And these differences are all pretty small. In general, how much nutrition and social care plays a role in that is also still not entirely clear (though there is a genetic component to it without question). Seems like humans are in general surprisingly uniform.
It is so strange to me that alleged feminists (or those that portray themselves as such) are now putting so much emphasis on these very few, tiny differences, as if EVERY woman was weaker and less athletic than EVERY man. Or that EVERY woman will express these sex-developmental differences the same way. Seems to me like a recipe for getting back to a neo-victorian revival of the “different spheres” theory of how the sexes work. Let’s just segregate all of society based on sex, that won’t cause any issues! Fuck, they are playing into the regressive right-winger’s hands so willfully, I’m really not sure that this is not by design.
I mean according to these people, I, a 169cm and 69kg man, should be able to beat a female rubgy player or weight lifter or what have you. No. Individuals differ and matter.
Mixed doubles in Tennis.
Whoops!

Okay. THen maybe we shouldn’t have male/female categories. Split competition by levels of ability. Then, if your daughter gets spanked by the competition, you don’t complain that the other girl might really be a boy, you complain that she should be competing in the next higher level of ability. The one your daughter can’t qualify for.
Unisex competitions, unisex locker rooms, unisex awards, unisex Wheaties contracts… All solved, no?

Yes, and according to these people, I should be a man because I have a lower voice and am taller than average and pretty muscular and can’t have children.
But I am definitely not a man.
Confused?
