Hello friends Im Jerry. I read recently a theory that the Earth is not a globe like they tell us but is flat. There seems to be proof in the Bible too. Isaiah 40:22, Genesis 10-11, Proverbs 8:27, Ezekiel 5:5, and others
I believe the Bible is right in everything, and it seems to me to say that the Earth is flat. Im not against science but when it goes against God's truth I am. There seems to be science to back up a flat Earth too.

That Isaiah verse calls the Earth a circle and the atmosphere a curtain--and with the kind of talking-out-of-ass interpretations these people make, that could easily be construed as metaphorical language; the named Genesis verse has nothing to do with a flat earth, that Proverbs verse has nothing to do with a flat earth, and in Ezekiel 5:5 Jerusalem is said to be put in the middle of the countries that surround it, which is both indicative of a lack of knowledge about geography and a case of extreme Captain Obviousness.

Let's face it, you aren't even familiar with your own evidence. Not that I think anything in that book has to do with anything.

Forum activity: One thread in CF, and just two posts in that. Methinks our Jerry here realised he wouldn't get the takers for his bait there, so he fucked off out of that echo-chamber sharpish. Especially when he saw that there are Muslim members there.

Oh, and one aspect of the above is so telling:

Anyone else would, if they were married, say so. Or if single, state 'Single'. Or are his privates married to Madame Palm anmd her five lovely daughters, because he's just a lonely teen boy...?!

You haven't even got the education, never mind life experience, to consider anything you say to have any credibility as a cogent 'argument', Jer! >:D

The Bible is not proof. The Flat Earth THeory COMES from the Bible, and is consistent with the contents of the Bible. But that’s nothing like proof. This would be more like you can go to New Zealand and find where they filmed the Shire, but that’s not ‘proof’ the Lord Of The Rings was real.

No, it dead-ass does. Every single description of the Earth is of a Flat plain. Under a solid sky. That rests on the ground. The Sun’s about 400 miles up, as are all the stars, the moon, the planets.

The Bible doesn’t think plants or insects are alive. You have to have nostrils to breathe in the spirit that makes you alive.
Clouds aren’t made of water, they just hold it. Lots of it. But they can’t hold all of it, so God has to hold them together.
THere’s a place you can stand and see all the nations of the world

No. Not at all. There are some ways to filter science and pretend it’s consistent, but scientists don’t work that way.
