Did you ever use it? Or just admire it as ‘cool’ and hope to one day try it.
I never have, i’ve had a security clearance since i was 18. Not really looking forward to trying it, either. Same with alcohol. Never took up the habit.
Mostly i look on them as a choice, not a status.

Cool is as cool does, was what i was taught, way back in the 70’s. If you need other people to tell you what’s cool, you’re not cool.

Sounds like hot sauce. I never did understand why men brag about choosing something by how much nerve damage it would do to them.

My son used to take a bottle of hot sauce, corked with a Death’s Head, to school. Stuff was so hot, you dipped a toothpick in it, then stabbed your food and ate that. A bully shouted that was a pussy way to use it, poured it liberally over his food, and was in the hospital for a few days.
So, the COOL kid scarred his throat, while the ‘idiot’ didn’t miss any classes or homework.
