But we SAVED them from that, by enslaving them, and selling them to people like Thomas Jefferson. Who had six kids by his white wife, but four additional kids by his black slave.
There’s a whole LOT of light-skinned blacks that testify to the fact this was not a rare situation. Slavery saved no one from polygamy, assuming that would have been a justification for it.
