…there was once a Cannonball Run-like race from the northernmost tip of Denmark to the southernmost tip of Italy.
…there used to be a 1 000 000+ tonnes supertanker, now scrapped.
…after the 1929 NYC Stock Exchange crash, there really was a high amount of suicides by jumping from skyscrapers.
…zeppelin-style airships have been reintroduced. Only now, they are filled with helium and are powered by electric versions of jet motors. Cruising speed 300 knots.

Oh, these people very much exist, and there certainly are problems, but they are more focused and far more successful in said shitholes and the inside of their diasporas - their atrocities in the West are posturing and efforts to maintain and escalate the polarisation between “the West” and “Islamic tradition” that is so central to their narrative (one important aspect here being to turn people caught in the shitholes to side with, or even flee to, “the West”, over accepting the realities of fundamentalist tyranny…).
For us in the “civilised West”, the much greater threat is their counterpart amongst ourselves, the Barbarian throwbacks that have always lived within our gates, who hate our culture, our freedoms, our democracies, with at least as much fervour as the average Taliban.

…do you mean one at some of the EU’s borders, or are you talking about Trump’s fantasy? If it’s the latter, may I inform you that the USA, and indeed all of America, is seperated from any Muslim-majority countries by an entire ocean on either side ? Where the hell would you build a wall to protect against Muslims?
