Have you ever considered that maybe HaShem (aka Bible God aka YHVH, Elohim, etc.) CAUSED the Big Bang?
And how do we know the Universe isn’t one of many or something that eternally creates, dissolves and recreates itself?
How do you know that Genesis 1:3…
And God said, Let there be light: and there was light.
… Doesn’t refer to The Big Bang? After all, this verse precedes the Sun, Moon and Stars (other suns) being created.
Granted, the sequence of the Creation of things is out of sequence in a couple of places, but the rest is spot-on with regard to the sequence of animals in order of appearance: Fish, "creeping things (like bugs & lizards)”, birds, other critters and finally, people. From a primitive, metaphorical work written by ancients, it’s a pretty good guess.
You can still believe in a Supreme Being and the Bible and still believe in real science, logic, reason and stuff like Evolution. Many Catholics and Mainline Protestants do so on a regular basis. The fundie way is the stupid way, and makes Deity make even less sense and sound like an even worse jackhole.
Take things less literally and stuff like “Why would Deity put that tree in the garden? If he knows the outcome, why test Adam & Eve? Why set them up to fail, then redeem them with the execution of his son centuries later, when all this could have been avoided? Etc. Etc. Etc.” wouldn’t be an issue, same with contradictions like the ones concerning humanity and creation between Genesis Chapters 1 and 2.
Heck, the doctrine of “Eternal Damnation” is pure evil, it makes Deity in general sound worse than The Devil, and it makes Jesus a huge failure. It makes more sense for Gehenna to be purgatorial in nature, and Jesus simply providing a way to bypass that step.

[A RANT ON SPIRITUAL MATTERS FROM YOURS TRULY TO THE FRUM BUMS]
I feel that Christianity needs to at least consider some elements of its Esoteric and Gnostic variations, as well as Universal Salvation. I also think Christianity and Dharmic Religions (especially Hinduism) could go together quite nicely.
Some Hindu stuff may even explain or excuse some Christian stuff, like Bible Deity having to send their Son (who’s also themselves) to die for everyone’s sins. In Hinduism, there are highly adept holy people who purposefully take on other’s Karmic demerits and go through some horrible ordeal or death… thus vicariously wiping away other’s bad Karma.
I feel The Hindu Trinity and Christian Trinity are one and the same, Christ is Vishnu and Jesus is an Avatar of Christ / Vishnu just as Krishna was an Avatar. When an Avatar of the Divine, manifest in a spiritually adept man, does what the above - mentioned adepts do, that’s bound to be powerful.
Christianity is basically a blend of Judaism, Hinduism and Zoroastrianism with a lot of Pagan stuff tossed in later. It’s like a Proto - Bah’ai.
I’m calling myself a ChristoVedic NeoPagan.
I call you and other fundies a dumbass.
If the Divine was the sunrise and religion a hand pointing towards it, you’d confuse the hand as the Divine and not the sunrise. You’re too literal and reject all common sense, decency, humanity, reason, empathy, love, warmth, etc. You’re like the Temple authorities who had Jesus executed! Religion is merely a tool of dominance and control to you!
