(referring to treason and insurrection)
Yes there is a distinction, neither of which has Trump been charged with, let alone convicted of. As to Desantis, yes at one time I was going to vote for him. As time goes by and The Dems make more and more stuff up about Trump, I will vote for him as he is the one to shake things up and put this country back on a even keel.

Over 300 years ago, a Proper Charlie that thought he had a Divine Right to rule who thought he could go against those with different political attitudes tried an act of insurrection against where I live: Hull. About a decade later he was denied his Divine Right to a head . Several months ago, another Charles was crowned as a constitutional monarch.
More than just heads - but the metal bodies attached to such - have been denied their right to exist in recent years since what those statues represented lost theirs metaphorically (as their fellow insurrectionists lost their lives) in what was not dissimilar to what happened a couple of centuries after the above. A couple of decades ago, the Confederate Air Force changed their name to Commemorative : nobody lost their heads about that.
A couple of years ago.
Insurrectionists attempting a ‘Civil War II: Electric Boogaloo’. The reason why there hasn’t been a Civil War in my country since 16 51.
You’re trying to make up excuses why you think you can have another attempt, OP…?!
The man kept stuff I’m not even cleared to see in a bathroom. As a trophy. Yeah, let’s give him access to EVERYTHING again, because he hasn’t been convicted, yet.
Translation: "The people I don't like don't like him, so I'm going to vote for him."
I am so over this sentiment.

Donald Trump was innocent of the crimes he was indicted for. woodchip had never seen the evidence that proved Trump’s guilt. It had never existed, he had invented it.
He remembered remembering contrary things, but those were false memories, products of self-deception.
Al Capone was never actually convicted of anything related to organized crime. Mainly because witnesses and the family of witnesses, investigators, prosecutors, mail clerks to prosecutors, and office go-fers loosely related to anything of the sort kept getting visits from less than friendly people that wanted them to know they didn’t see nothing.
Like the hilariously misidentified family of judge Engoran.

Yet, even before, Trump has shown an utter lack of basic decency and competence as POTUS and before, as businessman.
And he unironically compared himself to Al Capone at one of his own rallies, but implied that it wasn’t fair to Capone to keep him from making witnesses terrified of getting disappeared. That’s… I’m done, folks. I am done.
Confused?
