It is because of God's love that I care about the fate of those that lack intelligence (atheists). When the atheist says that there is no evidence that God exists, I take the time to reason with him about creation not being an accident, even though it is intellectually demeaning to have to do so (atheism is the epitome of stupidity). It's an intellectual embarrassment. But I have done so thousands of times, and will do so until my last breath . . . thanks alone to the love of God that dwells in me.

It is because of human empathy that I care about the baseless ideas of those that lack intelligence (theists). When the theist says that there is evidence that God exists, I take the time to reason with him about the universe not necessarily being a creation, even though it is intellectually demeaning to have to do so (theism is the epitome of stupidity). It's an intellectual embarrassment. But I have done so thousands of times, and will do so until they STFU...thanks alone to the hope for humanity that dwells in me...
Fixed.
Oh, and Ray: the word "intelligence" loses all significance when it is uttered by someone as hopelessly idiotic as yourself.
Aw, I'd love to hear the evidences for God from such a condescending man. Geez, I just hope I don't make him demean himself too much...but wait, he's a creationist.
"I take the time to reason with him about creation not being an accident, even though it is intellectually demeaning to have to do so (atheism is the epitome of stupidity)."
Lemme guess ... your basic argument is "Gee, look at this great big complicated universe? I can't imagine it not having been created by an omniscient, omnipotent deity some 6000 years ago, can you? What do you mean, you can? You're stupid!"
"I take the time to reason with him about creation not being an accident,"
That's the thing about fundies, they never like to admit that there's no evidence in God, but they love to try to prove that we're no accident. Even if they can prove that we weren't an accident, there's no proof of the Christian God when there are several religions that came before theirs.
Oh, good grief....
This guy thinks he's standing on a mountaintop, completely oblivious to the fact that he's a mile underground and still digging deeper.
I'm not sure which award would be most appropriate for this post. "Bizarre Alternate Universe"? "Opposite Day"? "Mirror, Mirror"? Or how about a new one: "Profiles In Humility"?
~David D.G.
I'd classify myself as more of an agnostic theist, so I'm not just trying to toot my own horn here, but most atheists I have known are quite intelligent. Lets face reality. God, if he does exist, doesn't make it very evident. The Bible, no matter how badly you want it to be, is no more proof of God than a DC comic is proof of Batman. Any intelligent person would at least doubt the existence of God at the very least.
That's not to say I have never met a stupid atheist, because they do exist. Proportionally, fundies have a much, much higher rate of the stupid.
In light of his core arguments:
"Actually, it’s not me that says that every building has a builder and that logically leads to the truth that creation therefore proves that there is a Creator."
The statement is ironic. How can he even begin to debate the issue if he doesn't comprehend the core issue? Ray, we can find evidence of the person who built a building.
Ray, any time you open your mouth it is an intellectual embarrassment. You are the epitome of stupid with your wonderful banana-brained concepts and your laughable lack of knowledge that doesn't seem to stop you from demeaning yourself by attempting to discuss things that are far beyond your ability to understand(like anything above third grade science). Excuse me, that's an insult to third-graders, your proofs wouldn't even impress a third-grader.
Yes, but what evidence did you use? Did you say, "God exists. The bible says he exists, therefore he does." That's not very good reasoning.
What you should do is consider the facts, even make a check list of things that do exists and see what they all have in common. I think you'll find that you have observed many of the things that do exist with any of your 5 senses.
Yeah Ray, we don't believe in invisible men that live in the sky with Santa and the Tooth Fairy. We don't believe in ghosts impregnating virgins. We don't believe in talking snakes or flora that imparts knoledge of good and evil. Wow, we're the epitome of stupidity!
I have a 134 I.Q. So even being average I still am way smarter, at least I know that bananas were genetically manipulated by man to be the "perfect" fruit you claim it is.
To quote Archie Bunker..."meathead, dead from the neck up."
@SomeGuyInAHat
I think it's save to assume that Ray knows full well that he's shoveling horse manure, but as long as there is a buck to be made in it he's not going to stop.
thanks alone to the love of God that dwells in me.
thanks alone to the love of money and power that dwells in me.

It's nice to see Ray Comfort give us a treatise on intellectual integrity.
*pulls trigger, blows brains across cube*
@ TauRaven: if your IQ is 134 you're well above average, average IQ is 90.
Also, for the record I only know of one atheist who is not, shall we say, the brightest bulb in the tanning bed. As for fundies....well, let's be generous and say that maybe the bright ones are out there but I just haven't met any of them ever in my life at any time in any place in any way shape or....oh you get the point!
...(atheism is the epitome of stupidity)...
Did the voices in your head tell you that, Ray? Let's be frank here, Ray buddy. Full-time, professional Christians like you are a burden on our society. It doesn't help that fundamentalist Christian behavior conforms perfectly to a diagnosis of paranoid schizophrenia. Please find a job that doesn't involve bilking thousands of suckers out of millions of dollars.
By the way, sunshine: My IQ tested out at 146. If that qualifies me as "stupid" or "lacking in intelligence", then color me a dumbass.
Athiest don't believe in your god for the same reasons that you don't believe in Zeus or Thor. If your god was real, wouldn't the bible be 100% proven?
Also, it's not very christian of you to call someone else stupid. And you wonder why no one will take you seriously.
Ray (foaming at mouth) : Because the banana perfectly fitting hand, universe too complication to accident be, GODDIDIT !!?!?
Atheist : ZzZZZZZZZzzzZZZzzZZzzz...
how come some christians never seem to realise their own hypocrisy? So if it wasn't 'god's love' he wouldn't give a toss... And what the heck is 'intellectual embarrassment'? embarrassment is embarassment, intellectual or not. If however intellectual embarrassment=stupidity, then Comfort is certainly near the peak of it.
Good arguer, bad arguing style.
Try some listen's and think's between your explain's. Then, occasionally, throw away your beliefs altogether and see if you can build them back up again. (bet you can't)
Stupidity lies in believing in badly translated babylonian fairy tales and inventing a god who is never there, but lets idiots such as you do foul deeds in its name.
For 51 years I thought as you, but 22 years ago found it was all bullshit.
BTW, I translate ancient texts, my job for almost 56 years.
Yeah, thanks to that love of god that dwells in you..otherwise I dont see how you could put up with us stupid atheists..how embarrassing.
Hey Ray, ever notice how the word "Embarassing" sounds a lot like "Bare ass"?
Anyways, have a nice day.
You know what, I just really, honestly, do not care about the fate of those who lack intelligence (fundies). I care about the people who you are harming with your stupidity.
Belief in Noah's flood, talking snakes, women being made out of a man's rib, the existence of four-legged insects, the ability of people to come alive after being dead for two days and all manners of other horseshit are what defines intelligence, and to not believe it is to be stupid?
Right........
This, by the way, is one of the creationists who whine about how rude and prone to name calling Atheists and intellectuals are.
And all because we won't back down on reminding him about his staggerlingly stupid banana theory that was an all-points award-winning failure
See, Ray, it pains me that you don't want to believe in Santa. If only you behaved as a good boy, you too could have the big present in the end.
> But I have done so thousands of times
Yet with all that practice you still don't seem to be getting any better.
You need a new argument. Have you considered grapefruit?
It is because of God's love that I care about the fate
Hahahaha!
No, all you care about is exploiting the gullibility of your cultists.
those that lack intelligence (atheists). When the atheist says that there is no evidence that God exists, I take the time to reason with him about creation not being an accident, even though it is intellectually demeaning to have to do so (atheism is the epitome of stupidity). It's an intellectual embarrassment.
That's quite a shiny mirror you have there.
"there is no evidence that God exists, I take the time to reason with him about creation not being an accident"
Argument from complexity is not 'reason,' and it's not evidence that God exists. It just shows that you're easily impressed.
(On the Moon Landings ):

-Dr. Buzz Aldrin
He earned his Ph.D at MIT. He is a Conservative Christian.
Someone's wrong, Ray Cumfart.
Quite the paradox he - as a Christian - represents to the likes of you .
Reconciling one's faith with proven scientific fact. It's a thing.
Y'see Ray, that's the problem. All those thousands of times you've "reasoned", and it would have been so much easier to present evidence just once. Just once .... whaddya mean, it's not that easy?
You've embarrassed yourself intellectually a thousand times, and you still suck at it? Why not just present the evidence for the existence of your particular god (evidence that simultaneously show that no other gods exist), and be done with it? The drivel about "creation not being an accident" is as non-convincing as Narnia couldn't have existed without magic closets.
Reason with HIM? Have you only met with male atheists, or do women refuse to approach you, creep?
“It is because of God's love that I care about the fate of those that lack intelligence (atheists).”
No, you do not. You want to be SEEN expressing care, but you really want to feel superior.
“ When the atheist says that there is no evidence that God exists, I take the time to reason with him about creation not being an accident,”
That’s not reason, Ray, that’s a bare assertion.
“even though it is intellectually demeaning to have to do so (atheism is the epitome of stupidity)”
Missed that line in the bible that says reviling people will send you to hell, i guess? And WE’RE the dumb ones?
And if you REALLY had reasoning behind your assertion, how could it be demeaning to demonstrate that? You’re so full of shit, Ray.
"It's an intellectual embarrassment”
Using your intellect would not be an embarrassment. Your bitch is that you make these statements and people keep asking you for proof or at least your logic, which you don’t have.
“But I have done so thousands of times, and will do so until my last breath . . . thanks alone to the love of God that dwells in me.”
Don’t demean yourself on my account, Bananaman.
Like for "Born Against Christians", it also reminded me of a parody with "subliminal" messages in parens, notably, the manual page of the xsublim xscreensaver module. i.e.

But this is obviously a fallacious ad hominem attack. Out of valid arguments, frivolous insults are thrown. It's also borderline hate speech. And evidence of arrogance that would prevent someone from learning. But in this case, malice may also be involved: it's a fraudulent business model weaponizing ignorance, for the benefit of a narcissist. To the informed, it's also hypocritical and ironically funny: for Comfort, ignorance is bliss. There are archives of videos and quotes, evidence of all the incoherent ignorant nonsense Comfort promotes.
Confused?
