I do not think many people will deny that Iran’s government is very much evil, and the few who would are not Democrats or the Mainstream Media, but on the actual Far Left.
But two wrongs do not make one right. And openly murdering one of their most prominent and popular government figures, no matter how vile, would have been an incomprensihensibly bad and foolish move EVEN IF we were not actively in a period of intense tension that is a major threat to world peace! Congratulation, now you handled the psycho regime with terrorist connection all the ammunition for war-mongering and “retributive” terrorism they could wish for, and more! Good job!
And, while I, due to the history of my own country, do not believe that a war to overthrow a murderous and tyrannical regime can never ever be justified or work… Donald Trumpery is even far less likely than bloody Bush to actually replace it with a stable and integrous democratic system.

Few in the West are sorry that he’s gone. What most are angry about is HOW it was done.
What would the Repubs reaction be if Iran murdered a top US military, on US soil? They’d probably be apoplectic with rage and demand the obliteration of Iran from the world map (at least some of them). This is how the Iranians feel too. You see, dearie; the Iranians are humans, just like you, with feelings, just like you.
