I predicted years ago that in order to be in the military or keep your civilian job you would need to not only agree with LGBTQ being okay, you would be required to celebrate it. I think we’re there. However, I think we’re going through a cultural hysteria and less than fifty years from now the pendulum will have swung back. Masculine men and attractive women will be back in style.

His handle says it all-blather.
I was unaware that attractive women were no longer in style, or that they had ever gone out of style. But I'm just a chick, & all these cultural changes happenin' so fast just makes my head spin.
Another caveman who confuses masculine with trashy. It's quite possible, easy even, to be masculine without being a trashy, ignorant douchebag.
Implying of course that to appreciate "masculine man or attractive woman" you need to be a homophobic asshat, which is a hilariously stupid non-sequitor.
Further implications include that gay men can't be masculine and lesbians can't be attractive, which is also pretty dumb. I'm not arrogant enough to call myself a masculine guy (though I'm definitely not effeminate either), but my boyfriend fits most of the criteria that are commonly associated with being masculine and I'm pretty sure he could crush you easily, both physically and intellectually if he wanted to. I've also met very good-looking lesbians, so, yeah, I guess you are full of shit.
"attractive women", eh? Define "attractive". Because to me, an attractive woman, while not outright butch, is still a strong and independent one that isn't just a mindless doll in a dress.
Yes, I happen to like 'em tall, smart, strong willed, and slightly athletic (slight girl abs is something I happen to enjoy). Also very curvacious in the right places while I'm at it. So don't assume you speak for all of us.

Agreed, I've known a few lesbians myself who were flat-out gorgeous. One of whom I even asked out before I knew. Which I guess really says something about just how attractive I found her, because I rarely even do that.

Well, the Navy has a policy of supporting equal opportunity employment. To advance in the Navy you need to adopt that policy, to support the Navy's policy.
This is no surprise. The Navy has a lot of policies. You need to support all of them or they don't really want you around.
I don't see why this is a big prediction or a revelation.
You don't get to have the right to treat certain members of your military unit different from others. You don't get to decide who gets to be in the unit. You don't get to shout hate at them.
Same as supporting their nation of origin, their religious freedom, their hair color, etc.
It's not a matter of persecuting you.
I predict that you'll be wrong.

Just her SA-80 will cause you hysteria.
And yes, she is rated for that Gatling, OP.
Actually, I think your name should be Useless Blather.
The word is tolerate, not celebrate, especially people who are defending your country. Masculine men and attractive women are fine, sexual orientation regardless, but bigots like yourself can take a long voyage on a leaky boat.

Blather, when there is a woman US Marine in this pic...:

...you've just been demoted to Private Parts.
Called it.
