Also, does anyone else get the feeling that ignorant men who decry other men as effeminate are really insecure? Same reason they refuse to wear anything with the colour pink on it. "If I wear pink, then that makes me effeminate! Because my confidence in my own masculinity is so weak that trivial things like wearing pink destroy it!"

Considering that in the United States, researchers estimate that 40%50% of all first marriages, and 60% of second marriages, will end in divorce, that's not that bad a record compared to heterosexual marriages.
In my extended family, we have only one divorce. The husband there was one of those guys who just "happened" to drop his hands after hugging you, so that they brushed against your breasts. Most, if not all, women here know the type, right?

Whereas same-sex marriages in the heterosexual community would be more stable, because, as we all know, they take it more seriously.
The stats come out every time that the Bible Belts fundamentalists have the highest divorce rates and that moderate churchs in the Bible Belt have higher divorce rates then outside of it as well. Not only does your religion affect your relationships badly its hate is corrupting the other churchs.

My county has the highest divorce rate in my state. Right now it's hovering in the mid 70s. My state doesn't have gay marriage.
