I think its the NWO agenda.
Like stop people from reading the bible night with your own bedside lamp because the lightbulb causes pollution.

Or you know, you could buy an LED bulb or high efficiency. Literally nobody's telling you not to use electric lightening, at most you get "Don't leave lights on in rooms nobody is in" and "use high effeciency lighting in lamps that minimize light pollution (i.e. lighting up things that don't need to be)"
Light pollution just refers to unwanted lighting of areas, such as the sky, or forests, or over lighting residential areas during night hours. We're at a point where crime is low enough that dark areas aren't appreciably more likely to be the scene of crimes. That's not to say motion sensing lights are bad things, but calibrate them so opossums and raccoon don't trigger them alright?
And there's no reason to use old style incandescent outside of niche applications (stuff that actually uses the UV and IR spectrum)
It's the bible that pollutes.
Besides, should you not be sleeping when not toiling in the fields for your lord?
If you have the time and money to waste frittering it away on mind games,
use one of those old oil lamps to read your scrolls.
How is it you know how to read, anyway? Don't you know education is of the devil?
@Mikgof
They put multiple bookmarks in a copy they smack around to make it appear as if they read it. They often go overboard with this like Phil Robertson did making it obvious it's a pretentious stunt.
Phils worth millions, but he carts around a dog-earred loose paged spine ripped copy. Does this fool them? Apparently. Should it? Fuck no. It's just one of those blatant stunts that only flies in religion because of the ignorance inherent.
"OHHH, look he must really read that a lot!"
Says dumb fucks.
@Canadiest
They should be made to read the damn thing. Although I have this sneaking suspicion that most professed Christians don't truly believe. Not deep down anyway. They know that Atheists encourage Christians to read the Bible. That ought to raise alarms. Why would Atheists want people to read the bible in its entirety? Even the dullest must realise that reading the Bible encourages people to lose their faith. For whatever reason they want to hold on to their faith, so don't bother reading it.
Confused?
