Citation seriously fucking needed. Even if that were the case, all it would take is an objection from a lawyer, who then simply has to quote from a dictionary (especially the Oxford English Dictionary, the definitive lexicon of the English language), which defines Atheism as:
atheism: (from Greek atheos, "without God, denying God") Disbelief in, or denial of, the existence of a God. Also, Disregard of duty to God, godlessness (practical atheism).
So how can Atheism possibly be a religion? The learned Supreme Court judges would realise that (or are you just lying for Jebus?). I'm sure the US Military would have tombstones that don't require a symbol, should said soldier be an Atheist. We in the UK have tombstones for those in the military who have no religious belief (again, with no religious symbol). After all, our national memorial, the Cenotaph in London, has no symbols on such, just the inscription 'The Glorious Dead'.

We in the UK have freedom from religion. Our healthy British sense of irony, and inherent cynicism (the ability to question everything - the media, politicians, even religions) ensures that. Even our political parties know that if an MP were to openly speak or act in a fundy way, it would be a sure-fire vote-killer (and the parties' Chief Whips - even the Conservative Party - would persuade them otherwise, in no uncertain terms!). Plus, we've seen how fundy religion has destroyed America, and we won't allow that right-wing poison in our clean, sacred country. Thus:
