I am not surprised that you are unaware of Darwin's comments from 'The Descent of Man', because few people are. This is by design. It is not in the best interest of the secular cabal that controls this nation for the truth to be made known. Secularists have sold us a mild mannered Charles Darwin who would not hurt a fly. In truth, he was a cold blooded killer. He might not have closed the door and turned on the gas, but he is just as guilty as those who did.
[followed by selectively edited quote from Darwin, followed by two other commenters on the board pointing out said selective editing and hoping that these were not the OP's words]
Those are my words. Charles Darwin was a murderer.

But somehow this secular cabal slipped up and allowed the book to be published.
If they're so incompetent I'm pretty sure they can't handle door closing and gas turning on.
Having read his works, I dispute that - but just the same, I find it completely immaterial to the truth of the process of evolution. If you trash Darwin, that doesn't trash evolution. Hell, even if you could possibly trash evolution (which none of you have been able to do) that would do nothing to prove the validity of biblical creation.
Choose another battle. You've lost this one, decisively.
Charles Darwin died in 1882. The Nazis started out in 1920. The concept of eugenics has existed in various forms since at least ancient Greece, though the actual word didn't exist until after Darwin's death. That's a very tenuous link between Darwin and Auschwitz, regardless of his intentions.
It's also kind of dumb to blame someone for being directly responsible for murders which occurred approximately three generations after they died.
Then by the same logic you're guilty of every innocent tortured and murdered by every pope, inquisitor, crusader and fanatic. Darwin still comes out smelling like roses by comparison. And he'd still be right, too.
Blame Galton for that, or Spencer, but not Darwin. There's no evidence Darwin actually said the following:
It is not the strongest of the species that survives, nor the most intelligent that survives. It is the one that is most adaptable to change.
...but it is true. Human beings are a good example of it; physically slow compared to other animals; no claws nor strong teeth for snapping apart bone to reach the marrow. Humanity can act like an Apex Predator only because our opposable thumbs and large brains allowed us to adapt...and in fact we've adapted too well and ironically could face extinction by overpopulation.
Humans are an adaptable and invasive species with representation on every continent, on the ocean itself, and even in space where three persons currently live.
Eugenics came about before even an understanding of DNA and negative eugenics has proved to be more than just problematic and for a variety of reasons.
In truth, he was a cold blooded killer.
So what? He was still right. Go back to sucking your thumb and let the grown-ups talk.

The very reason for the splintering of Christianity, especially in America where the splintering continues. All to run away and disconnect with even their recent past.
If there's one standout about American Fundamentalism over the older Sects it's that they attack other Christian denominations as much as science and secular society. It's really a religion of full time bitching about everything and everybody else.
Even if your claims were true, which they aren't, it wouldn't matter. Scientific theories stand and fall on their own merits, not the merits of the person who proposes them. Darwin could have spent his free time feeding babies to wolverines, and he'd still be right about evolution by natural selection. And he'd still get the credit for it fro the same reason Ty Cobb gets credit for all the baseball records he set: because being a shitty person doesn't change what he accomplished.
Confused?
