Fun Fact Bullshit:
There, fixed it for ya.
“Fun Fact: when a man has sex with a woman a piece of his DNA is left behind in her brain for life… hence bein bound for life”
What an incredible burst of absolute bullshit. How would the DNA get to her brain? Is it from his Sperm? Sweat? Hairs? What?
This is detectable by….?
This was demonstrated when…?
This would be REALLY useful in rape cases where the male says ‘i never had sex with her,’ if we could find a life-long brain evidence of their having been bonded through sex.
“This doesn’t work for gay sex so their is no “real” gay marriage”
‘Marriage’ is legally a very formalized partnership. Nowhere in the partnership agreement, either written or traditional understanding, does it mention DNA being lodged in someone’s brain.
even if this were anything LIKE a fact, it has no bearing on gay marriage.
Genetic inheritance does not mean that you're getting any genetic code taken away, just that some is being copied. It does not matter for biology if you are married or not, a human arrangement. It does not matter for biology if sex is reproductive or not, unless the need to reproduce is urgent. Pseudoscientific bigotry.

There is actually a common yet poorly understood phenomenon called microchimerism, in which women possess sprinklings of stemcell-like tissues incorporating foreign genetic material. However, it is believed to have its origins not in sex in itself, but in pregnancy, most likely related to the immunology of tolerating the unborn. However, in the long term, it is also thought to be one of the reasons why autoimmune diseases affect women far more frequently then men. The exchange happens through the placenta, which has turned out to be more permeable than previously though.
...meanwhile, this man merely smiles:

Especially as he's a Professor of Gynaecology, who also studies Genetics .
Do you see why he smiles, little Timmy...?!
