I am not going to allow the COVID maniacs to convince me to be vaccinated or [to] vaccinate me against my will. I know what I’m reading. I know what I’m seeing. There is a mass death campaign underway right now—and I don’t care what people [say], they can they write any article they want to write about me, they can do everything they can to deplatform me—I’m going to survive a global genocide.
The only good thing that will come out of this is a lot of stupid people will be killed off. If the vaccine wipes out a lot of stupid people, well, we’ll have a better world. I’m going to survive. I’m going to survive by God’s grace; by his will, I’m going to survive the genocide.

…Okay, let’s assume for a moment that COVID is indeed a hoax designed purely by some grand illuminaty/freemason/templar/whatever conspiracy to murder as many people as possible through the “vaccines”. Then what? What could possibly be the point of murdering over 90% (rounding up the number of non-vaccinated people) of the human population? What would that even accomplish?
Thing is, most RL “conspiracies” and villains tend to, you know, want something sensible from their plans. Like money, or power. While I admit there are Jokers out there who “want to watch the world burn”, those are the MINORITY, and not nearly able to cook up such a scheme. Umbrella corp is not real, genius.

Even in the case of the fictional Umbrella Corp, one can reasonably assume they had a goal other than to create a worldwide zombie apocalypse, which apparently destroyed their company as well. Things just … didn’t go exactly according the plan.
Although I haven’t played through the games, so I can’t say for sure, but, well, in almost every story I’ve read, seen, or played where such things happened, the proximate cause of the big problem usually had plans that went awry, rather than this whole thing being the plan. Unless it was something designed from the beginning for 7 year olds.

Well, having watched most of the RE movies and played most of the (superior) games I think I have a good enough idea to clarify it.
In the movies (which I was mostly referring to here), the final one finally reveals that Umbrella’s leadership planned to use the T-Virus to exterminate all of humanity except for their “chosen few”, who would then proceed to rebuild the world as it should be.
In the original games, it’s a bit more complicated, but Umbrella’s leadership were mad scientists and “evilutionary biologists” who wanted to use their engineered viruses to create a new breed of superhumans to replace modern humanity (and passing it off as “supersoldier programs” to gain government funding) and find a way to become immortal themselves. The Tyrants (named after the eponymous T-Virus) were their most succesful attempt, as most people instead turned into almost-useless zombies because of the T-virus. The outbreak in Raccoon city was completely unintentional and helped doom the company once they were found to be responsible.
If the “globalists” rule the world then why would they want to exterminate mankind? Wouldn’t they want to protect their subjects to not end like the Boynton Club of Fallout 4?

See, for exemple, the Veronica virus whose objective was to make infected persons as smart as the ancestor Veronica.
Speaking about video games, the Enclave of Fallout aimed to remove most FEV-infected humans (i.e. most Wastelanders) to rebuilt a better post-apocalyptic America, though even some parts were just planning to “merely” enslave the “impures.”
...and what's to stop the various travel companies - especially airlines - from preventing you from using such if you can't provide proof that you've had both vaccinations? Last week I enquired at the National Express booking office at Paragon Interchange here in Hull about coach services to London, and if the card I had stamped at the vaccination centre I visited: certainly once I had it stamped again after the second & final jab, would be sufficient as a 'Travel Passport' - to the end of visiting my best friend (who has had both jabs already) in July/August - and they said yes: as travel restrictions would be lifted for those who have been vaccinated.
And now the $64 trillion dollar question: What's to stop your medical insurance provider from refusing to offer coverage if you haven't been vaccinated: or any other company? PROTIP: Here in Britain, the vaccination(s) I've had/will be having (the 2nd) are via our NHS.

I would like to most particularly note that the Enclave planned to release their modified FEV into the wasteland, because it would kill all the mutated people while leaving alone all of those that were pure.
I would also like to very most particularly note that they had an inoculation you could convince the doctor heading the FEV program to give you, and could also convince him to give to the Vault 13/Arroyo population.
And very most particularly notable, especially in light of that first note: all of the essential staff of the Enclave had already been given that inoculation. Even though pure humans were supposed to be susceptible.
But, then again, part of how you convince that doctor to inoculate you and the vault resident and descendants, was to convince him that mutation is in fact just a part of the survival mechanism of humanity itself, and that was really the whole point behind the story anyway. And the rest of the Enclave … they ignored it, because that wasn’t really their main concern, even if they really believed it was. Just like when you’re talking to people who think anyone even slightly different from them is clearly inferior and needs them to oversee their lives, they don’t really believe that even if they believe they do believe. They just believe everyone should worship them, basically.
