This is long because I've kept my mouth shut for a while just watching. Yesterday pissed me off, so now I'm venting and regurgitating a bit of info I've heard and personally believe in.

The problem seems to lie in the idea of Hate Speech. Its a phrase that has been thrown around a ton in the last few years, even though it is very subjective and doesn't mean anything more than speech someone could find offensive or in conflict with their own ideology.

Reddit remade their rules such that it could target and remove what they see as Hate Speech, and unfortunately that targets a lot of right leaning ideology. The reason for that is that Hate Speech doesn't really have a set term, so it is used and abused to go against right leaning idea's because reddit is a heavily left leaning (especially in positions of power) forum that doesn't want to completely ruin itself by banning everything conservative or farther right leaning. They slowly do it and hope people stay around for the non-political subs.

Anyway, back to why right leaning stuff tends to be the target of hate speech - Its because most right leaning ideas and talking points are based in more fact, and the left can't fight against it so they ban it and try to keep it from other's being "infected".

Stats about African-America and other darker skin toned groups having higher violence rates. Stats about transgendered people being more likely to have mental issues or dealing with suicide. Stats that show that men aren't the only abusers and women actually lie maliciously to hurt men (see all the women that came out against Trump and how that died). All numbers that we have that prove there are issues, but that are targeted because they "discriminate" against people.

And the left has surrounded themselves with so many "minority" groups and extremists that they have made themselves a bubble of people that have been/can be/ or are discriminated against so that if anyone dares speak out against them, the dem's can fall back on the idea that the person is homophobic, trans-phobic, islamaphobic, working for the patriarchy, racists, sexist, etc, etc etc. And then the bubble forms around what/whoever spoke out only to swallow them up and spit them out beaten half to death.

And the sad thing is, this is just reddit. Youtube has updated policies yesterday as well and banned a large number of videos, channels, and accounts for the same "hate speech" issues. Twitch has banned Trump. And hell there is so much more suppression of speech by the right because the left knows the less people can hear the truth, the easier it is to brainwash them with the liberalized media, news, and social platforms. (Some of Trump's highest approval ratings were during his daily Covid briefings. News didn't like it, stopped broadcasting, and now his ratings have tanked.)

Its a cluster that is all leading to the 2020 election, and this time it could be really scary seeing everything that is happening. And if Dem's get in, America as we currently know it probably won't even be seen again. We will undergo a radical transformation as extreme leftist ideology is thrust unto use and conservatism is banned for being wrong think.
