Do you not understand how AI works? It’s pure pattern recognition. Some tech somewhere feeds it an endless stream of images.
Someone asks for a particular image.
The AI sorts through the thousands of examples it has, to produce something based on all of that art.
It is a way for uncreative people to create images without having to pay the author. It’s why ad execs want it, so they only pay the IT guys, not anyone with graphic skills.
I find it fun, but i sure as fuck don’t charge anyone for it, or pretend it makes me creative. Frankly, I’m trying to flood DA with crappy images so that the AIs that copy my art will make worse art further down the line.

Management at my office keeps promoting AI to write procedures, thinking it’ll do the heavy lifting and the only have to pay the editors.
But they still need the authors to make the procedures ACTUALLY FUNCTION.
