Makes me wonder if they actually saw the movie. The Joker’s life is miserable and terrible in ways that make him hard to sympathize with. He is the sort you might feel sorry for but only from a distance. The stress of his life clearly make his mental problems worse but his core mental problems are inherent and likely inherited, his mother is clearly unstable also.
It’s very likely though that they did see the movie through their lens of Jewish conspiracy. Which would lead to all sorts of fever dreams because the movie is already a difficult to separate mix of Joker’s delusions and reality.
