It is absolutely hilarious that the same people that say they dont support the bible blindly support science blindly. Science has become the new generalized accepted god and religion - and it isnt perfect by any stretch. Still, people will blithely support scientific ideas and products fed to them without having the slightest clue of what it means. That is dumber, to me, than believing the bible -- at least you can draw applicable conclusions from the "stories" in the bible.
No, believing in God is both uncool and non new-age. The IN thing right now is to believe in Mother Earth, global warming, terrorists, and science.

well actually I've found out homosexuality is nothing more than a genetic degeneration, that's why there are even some animals with same-sex attraction, they're degenerated too.. they can be sick as well as people can.. It's not reasonable to ask Christians that. We are called to go out into the world and deliver Christ's message. It is unreasonable to ask us not to do what our God has instructed us to do.
It IS, however, reasonable to ask athiests, buddhists, and others not to preach their beliefs, because their beliefs are not important to the world.

This is one of those horrible atheist smart alec questions that crops up from time to time (as in daily). I don't mean any offense to you, but surely you didn't think this was in any way original do you?
My most logical answer to this is quite simply, if it wasn't part of gods plan for said amputee to be an amputee, they wouldn't be. Thus restoring the severed limb is pointless, since clearly god had a plan that was being carried out by removing a limb and god has a reason they are an amputee. Reward for their suffering and faith will come later.

Of course, since God has virtually unlimited power, he could have employed any type of magnetism he wanted.

It was sad to see some Christian schools dropping the contracts of Creationists and Intelligent Design advocates. I guess perhaps they should not call themselves Christian schools anymore. I don't know what's going on in the minds of Christian administrators in Christian schools to dump their basic beliefs and force out creatinist and intelligent design advocates.
