It was sad to see some Christian schools dropping the contracts of Creationists and Intelligent Design advocates. I guess perhaps they should not call themselves Christian schools anymore. If the BIBLE is fiction, then why do the stars and constellations tell the same things?
I will tell of 2 examples...
1) When JESUS was born (the very day/night), the planet Jupiter (the king planet) was seen to circled the star Regulus (the king star) 3 times. This was the sign the wise men had been looking for, it told the birth of a 3-fold king.

In 2003 there was a T Rex found in Montana. The femur bone was too large to load in the helicopter so they cut it in half. Inside was software tissue, red, squishy. meat looking, blood cells. Clearly not 65 millino years old.

Has humanism puffed up your self-esteem so much that you don't need God? Think you're too smart? Why then is the Bible too confusing for you? (You know it was written in the English language in 1611 to farmers of a 5th grade reading level.
College text books change every year yet all are taught as fact for that semester and to question it you are just ignorant. Yet the Bible (KJV1611) which came from the Textus Receptus which comes from the Old and New Testaments written in Hebrew and Greek respectively, which was completed around 90-100AD is not taken seriously as a history book?
Where do people think we got our year from? It has been 2007 years since Jesus birth. He died (and rose again)around 33AD. This is history, the Bible is a very good read and even if you don't believe it, but maybe it will soften your heart and you won't have all this hate towards Christians.

They can't be equivalent, because Maher uses "gotcha" journalism and subversive tactics to prey on innocent people and make them look like fools. He's ignorant of what he talks about and uses a straw man type of attack - using the fringe to make the whole outlet look crazy. He misleads the audience into drawing his conclusions out of what little video they see, and he appeals to irrational and cooky theories of science and religion that are unproven. He's almost like a conspiracy nut in the religious world...
Ben Stein is just honest and presents facts as they are...leaving conclusions up to the viewer. He might lead them a little bit, but I think he uses solid examples and presents things clearly. He lets the people in his film tell the story, like a real documentary should.
