...well, yeah. Equating sex with gender in general is. It might be more convenient when talking about animals, but ultimately it's a reinforcement of the notion that sex equals to gender. There's a possibility I'm off base, being cis and all, but that's what I think at least.

I didn't say they needed to become atheists (though I certainly would not mind.) All they have to do to not catch the flak from the pernicious effects Christianity has had on the world is to edit their book and stop calling themselves Christians. Problem solved.

I have no problems with this. If they don't want to be sterilized they shouldn't be committing crimes. It's no bigger a violation of their human rights than locking them in a metal cage for several months or years.
You don't have to believe that criminality is genetic in order to know criminals probably wouldn't make good parents.
At this point, I almost would prefer the first world nations marching in and taking complete control of the Middle East. Not forever, but at least until everyone living there now is dead of old age.
