One surprising insight uncovered by yesterday's post on the T-Witch is that some among the counterculture still mistake the Death Cult's ritual cant for normal, if jargon-riddled, English.

A vital aspect of Cult behavior that normal folks must always keep in mind is that all of a Witch's faculties are wholly given over to serving the Cult. That includes the gift of speech, which the Cult perverts from its original purpose of worshiping God to demoralizing and manipulating His children.

I mean, you actually flipped one of them into an opposite meaning.

Like many fundies, Brian makes the mistake of thinking other people think the same way he does. Brian has stated that the primary function of human speech is to worship God, therefore he believes that the speech of people who disagree with him is wholly given over to demoralising and manipulating “God’s children”.

Off topic, I’ve always spelt ‘worshipping’ with two ’p’s. Am I doing it wrong or is this simply British vs. American spelling? (as it is with the aforementioned demoralise/demoralize.)

Mostly differences between American and British spelling, but frankly American schools teach a rule that they constantly violate, worshiping being one of them.

See, they teach if the preceding vowel sound is a long vowel, you simply at -ing, snipe being sniping, cope becomes coping. Also note, those end with e, as most words ending with a long vowel then single consonant sound do in English.

If it is preceded by a short vowel sound, kidnap becomes kidnapping, and worship becomes worshipping. But most English teachers in the US, and American English spell checkers, mark both as wrong, despite the fact they actually follow the rule as it’s laid down, because these words at some point were determined to not double that final letter. (Full disclosure, kidnapping for some reason is not being marked here, but it has in other instances, though that was with word processors over several years.)

Basically, American English is a grammar and syntax system notable for having more exceptions than examples of the rules most of the time.

And when Brian gets sick, he will realise the masks were not satanic nor death cult unless satanic or death cult means making sure others don't get sick is what they're about

Good god that is an awful cover illustration. How does Bri-Bri turn giant mechs into generic boredom? That must be his real talent, taking what should be pure conceptual awesomeness and just sucking any trace of originality right out of it. And it’s not like he even drew it, it just seems average-at-best by association. It reminds of a ’90’s redraw of the Spaceman From Pluto comic from Back to the Future, slapped onto one of those cut-rate comics you’d find in an out of the way dentist office in 1968 Missouri or something.

...and further proof of Bri's plagiarism - certainly for the cover of it's e-fuck... er, I mean e-book - this... excuse the pun... frame from episode 1 of "Gundam SEED Destiny":

Never mind the title of that which brought Sunrise's franchise into the 21st Century: least of all part of the name of the Britannian Empire's mecha in that by Sunrise & CLAMP, Bri couldn't even think of it's own ideas of what those in it's ripoff should look like.

At least futurist & pioneer of the look of Cyberpunk via "Blade Runner" Syd Mead gave us a different take on the production designs for, certainly the eponymous mecha in, "Turn A Gundam".

You can bet that it was the visual impact of the Mashin or 'Rune Gods' in their early smash hit "Magic Knight Rayearth" that made Sunrise bring in CLAMP to collaborate with the production designs for "Code Geass": especially the look of the Knightmare Frames in such, Bri.

...and to think: four women have infinitely more imagination than you, OP.

Let us know Bri, when - as per Stan Lee having his "Heroman" brought to life in anime form - something by you is similarly adapted: perhaps as that for Netflix, such as "Little Witch Academia" or "Beastars".

Or Kuromukuro.

As we wait with baited breath any new series streamed by them, don't hold yours: as we don't fancy your chances much re. even Amazon or Hulu so much as looking at your... 'ideas' to adapt into series, Bri.
