There’s no right to abortion in the Constitution
...and there's no right to an Establishment of Religion - as in State: unlike here in England, as in Church of, whose then head King George III your Founding Fathers fought against, thus said Constitution - for an extremely good reason. Do you know what it is, Liz?
Because if - as so many of the Religious Reich want in the RL Republic of Gilead you short-stroke yourselves into oblivion at the mere thought of such - you got what you want: a State Religion, Right-wing Fundamentalist Christainity: and only that, there's just one problem:
There's an extremely good reason why Margaret Atwood wrote "The Testaments": and not just the reason why Gilead collapsed under the weight of it's own form of hyper-hypocrisy, OP.
...oh, and that pesky state religion of ours: the Church of England? PROTIP: They have clergy peers in the House of Lords in Parliament. Still not doing anything against that law which made Abortion legal here several years before Roe vs. Wade in the US.
Don't make me get out my Free Votes in Parliament to change that legislation in any way since the mid-1960s: all of which have failed.
So why have all attempts in your country similarly failed since 1973, OP...?!
