Im not racist (unless you use some retarded leftist meaning of the word I guess). I don’t hate people just because they belong to a different race. If I see a normal black person I would treat him like any other normal human but I will not pretend that an average black person is as good as an average white or asian person.

The "retarded" leftist definition of racism can be boiled down to treating people differently based on their race, which is what you do. Instead of taking each person as an individual and judging them by their individual merits, when you see a black man, you determine based on the colour of his skin that he is not as good as you. But, gee, thanks for recognizing at least that he's human. For someone like you that must be quite the leap.

Even if there were something to this whole race / IQ business, there is no way for you to tell based on skin tone alone whether or not the specific person you're talking to is more or less intelligent than you are.

Racist =/= burning crosses on lawns. You can be perfectly polite to people and still be a racist. How can you not understand this?

You’re not racist, you just deem that, on average, some races are better than others.

Well, if he acknowledged the truth, he would have to admit to his racism, admit that he's in the wrong and that he needs to change. That's just too frightening to acknowledge, because it shifts his entire worldview, and his view of himself.

I mean, if you were a racist, would you want to be honest with yourself?

Thinking some people are lesser than others just because of their skin colour is pretty much the definition of racist. You don't need to fly into a wild rage at the mention of black people to count as a "real" racist.

Actually, yes.

When I was growing up, the only interracial couples I saw were on TV, and for almost every couple either the male or both were suspects.
ONE kiss between Kirk and Uhura, Joey and his wife on one season of Soap, and neighbors on The Jeffersons, but very, very few neutral couples much less positive.
Years later, as I moved to more cosmopolitan areas than South Central Idaho, I saw a lot of interracial couples in real life. And I ALWAYS had a negative reaction to black man/white woman pairs. I couldn’t understand it.
Just on sight, I judged them, esp. the woman. I would stop and examine that judgment every time, until it just went away. Watching old shows on TV i started to see where that came from.

The opposite, white man/black woman, just makes me horny, probably because of my marriage.

SO, yeah, if i have racist tendencies, I’d like to confront them.
I do not pretend to think , though, that this is a common trait, esp. among MAGA types.
