Replace “atheist” with “religious fundie”, and “evolution” with “creation”, amongst others, and this suddenly makes infinite more sense. Also, learn proper grammar and all, dumbass.

Besides, if anyone “can’t be bargained with, can’t be reasoned with, doesn’t feel pity or remorse, and won’t stop, EVER, until you are converted”, it’s the fundie, not the atheist. Because, news flash, atheists like me prefer for people to think for themselves and make their own choices, not to mindlessly do as we tell them to.

Just how do you identify an atheist without talking to them? It’s not like we have a special badge. Or do you ask everyone you do business with about their religious beliefs before buying?

We had school prayer when I was in the early grades and it had the same effect on most of us as the reciting of the Pledge of Allegiance every morning: a rote recitation that we didn’t think about.

I'm not an atheist: most of the posters here know that. But I spend most of my online time with atheists and agnostics. They respect my beliefs and I respect theirs. That's called tolerance.

I have found atheists to be a damned sight more honest during an argument than Christians on the whole. This holds true across hundreds of online debates.

And finally, morality is a choice. I've seen far too many allegedly religious people ignore the highest teachings of their moral code in exchange for a political code. It happened decades ago. It's happening now. Those evangelicals who worship Trump, for example, have made for themselves an idol and all idols are pitiless.

When did evolution fail? Seriously, when? What paper was submitted? Peer reviewed? If someone actually had evidence to disprove evolution, that fucker would be on the cover of People, Time, Newsweek and Scientific American.
OR, if someone had actual evidence of the conspiracy to prop up evolutionary theory, same thing.

Let me guess. An atheist outdid you in debate. As to morality, many evangelical Christians as well as other Christians were happy to vote for a person who embodied all sin and didn't believe in repentance. This is on top of an evangelical leader forgiving Trump. Something that says how disposable those beliefs really were. And that's not even getting into real empathy based morality which they're even worse about. Finally the school prayer won't work. First off read Matthew 6:5. To boot, many will not be praying with heart. God would know they are merely doing so to not get in trouble.

Interestingly, I haven’t heard too many scandals lately, about ATHEISTS molesting children in their care. Unlike the churches…so keep praying, which is exactly like a schizophrenic talking to their voices.
