“When”? You’re assuming Trumpigula will still be alive or even Potus by the time it takes to annex Canada (and I doubt Congress will be as willing once he’s gone). Remind me again how long Putin thought it would take to conquer Ukraine? And how long has it been since?

With the government already having basically made atrocities their official doctrine of war and all their influencers already having renounced the concept of international law in favour of Might Makes Right with the Maduro strike at the latest, I guess there are few ways left to escalate in the chickenhawk-shockjockeys’ race to the bottom besides coming up with even more stupid, more taunting, more flagrantly unjust reasons to go to war.

First off, the only reason why you supporting that idea is because Trump is and you’re too much of a Trump sycophant to dare voice a opinion against him and second once he’s gone, the US congress or POTUS is far less likely to conquer Canada since Trump is the only one that’s even pushing for it right now
As a guy who’s a bit of a “sports nerd”, I can tell you that…no, that’s not how it works. If you look up records of who won what medals in past Olympics, any book or website will still list the winners from countries that no longer exist as being winners from that country. For example, Wikipedia’s article about the 1988 Summer Olympics still counts East and West Germany’s medal winners as separate, as well as listing winners from the USSR. Of course, by the time the next Olympics came around, none of those three countries existed.
