One way I go about it is to clarify my thinking and put it more forcefully so that maybe more people can wake up to what is going on. I am writing this post to express my realization that I am fighting a cultural belief in an abstract object. As a more usual example, numbers are abstract objects that may or may not exist (personally I think not), but in any case they don’t do anything. It’s more like a coincidence that mathematics tells us true facts about numbers, if numbers happen to exist.

If you think hard about the nature of abstract objects they become very elusive and harder to pin down the more you think. Unlike the objects studied by mathematics, “child sexual abuse” was never based on any logical theory to begin with either. All we have is a script springing out of a moral panic which emerged in the 1980s repeating over and over again in the courtrooms. It is abuse because the law says it is abuse and there is no room to question it -- until now. This is a different cultural moment. I hope this momentum can carry it from here and then perhaps my work is done.

Technically, trooning out is often a result of self reflection. The part that's missing is drawing a logical conclusion from it, which can't happen because of the reproductive niche a male evolved to occupy. If a male completes the process of self reflection, he will not engage in male-typical sexual behavior. That makes the trait self-eliminating.

You may have noticed this already. A male grows up watching his mother get abused by his father, perhaps getting abused himself. He feels bad for the mother, pities himself and acknowledges that his father was wrong, yet eventually becomes an abuser. A male would kill any male hitting on his 13 year old daughter, yet his hard drive is full of jailbait. A male understands that pregnancy is painful and destructive to the woman, and feels bad for his wife. He still wants heirs.

A male's observation that he needs to hurt others to fulfill his reproductive program, logically, should result in him ceasing the program. And perhaps it did in the distant past, but that trait by definition mostly died off. This predicts an existence of some kind of a neurological "switch" in the mind of a male that prevents him from internalizing his own awareness of male harm. Studies showing previously rape-condeming males increasingly justifying sexual violence and rape myths as their own arousal increases are consistent with this hypothesis, as well as the established male tendency to externalize.

Sure, a number of TIMs most definitely troon out as a premeditated means to min-max their current place in society.
