Oh, the old bullshit... Earth is a hermetically closed system, cut from the Sun and space? So would that be due to some magic antedeluvian canopy that "regenerated"? :D Even if the planet was isolated, it's large enough and with the necessary elements, that the argument still wouldn't stand. There's a lot of dynamics, a non-fully-solid interior, tectonics, an atmosphere, oceans, tides (unless also gravity-isolated from the solar system for your fantasy)...
If you decide to close your own body to the world, you'll soon suffocate. This means that even if you claim that you were directly created by a deity, your biological processes depend on an open exchange system.
Denying your precious bodily fluids is not a closed system! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xQyf3QgRP-c
By none other than Hovind, your trustable source about science? As a Young Earth Creationist, even deep time is denied, despite the incredibly reliable overwhelming evidence.
The next logical step is flath earth in a glass bulb?
When's your next rendez-vous, for the depart-rapture?
The cocks collide.
Edit/Adding:
Another obvious problem in the argument is everything decays. It's true of life as it's also subject to death, but reproduction with modification is not spontaneous generation, neither is it genetic reset. It was also true for our far ancestors. Biology has genes. Then there's the misconception that the fitness of organisms could only decrease, never increase. Just looking at coevolved predator-prey dispells this. Or at insects, plants and bacteria evolving resistance to poisons, or at bacteria in labs evolving the ability to feed on new materials. Or at the fossil record, despite the rarity of fossils. Unlike creationists in their "research", science is about actual research, not argument fabrication and adaptation.
