Everything about the Pentagon on 9/11 smells more like a missile-attack than that a Boeing 757-223(300,000-pound with a wingspan of 124,1 feet - Flying M 0.80(533 mph) hit DoD. The structural damage to the building was too minor to have been made by a commercial airliner and the biggest questions are why the plane, piloted by an amateur and how he even had the skills to crash into the headquarters of the United States Department of Defense.

This reminded me - there has been movies about the attack on the WTC and about Flight 93.

And you know this because of how many other airplanes hitting fortresses you can compare it to?

I really think, if i was going to lob a missile at the Pentagon, i’d use a bunker-buster. That place is a lot more like a bunker than the WTC buildings. Anything that explodes on contact would just scratch the cement outsides, unless it hit a window.

With a BB, the hole would be small going in, and the insides pretty much hollowed out. So it does NOT smell like a missile attack. There would be either fewer deaths or a LOT more.

Just a note, flying a plane takes practically no skill. Taking off and landing require actual training. Once in flight, any jackass can fly it.

The Pentagon attack did lots damage, it just mostly didn’t matter in the ultimate scheme of things. Because of the Oklahoma city bombing it was being renovated to make it tougher in the face of bomb attacks but the important thing is that the section hit was under construction and largely empty. So the attack did a lot of damage but mostly just made the renovations take longer.

I wouldn't remember which but I did see it as part of a longer conspiracy theories propaganda movie. If I remember the film was mostly about government denial and gold conspiracy theories, sovereign citizen movement propaganda.

If I recall, this was one of the elements that prompted suspicion for a teacher, who realized that a student wasn't really interested in properly learning how to fly...

These conspiracy theories deny basic facts like the amount of fuel/combustible those planes have that will also burn the plane itself, and that planes are designed to be light so penetrate less than weapons designed for the purpose... It's the kind of expert knowledge that allowed official investigators to determine what happened. Plus, they had access to video footage, only some of which was ever public. And flight data...
