In 1993, Jelaila Starr began communicating with a humanoid Lion-being called Devon who belongs to a Feline race that first established a presence in the Lyra constellation. She was told that the Felines were responsible for seeding the first humans in the Lyra and Vega systems, and later established a presence in the Sirian star system after a catastrophic war.
