On 2023/05/01, a homeless person named Jordan Neely went around threatening people in a NYC subway as Neely was hungry, thirsty, needed a job, and was “not afraid of going to prison and was ‘ready to die’”. People felt unsafe from Neely’s actions, so a Marine veteran named Daniel Penny choked Neely to death.

While I can fully understand that people would feel frightened and unsafe by Neely’s actions, that does not mean one should condone vigilante justice and manslaughter… Perhaps try fixing the disease instead of “eliminating” the symptoms, hmmm?

So, strangling someone who should have been in a mental hospital is something you think praiseworthy? Yet again someone thinking that some lives are worth less than others.
