You know what, I’ll just come out and say it: FUCK ROWLING! I know in the beginning I sorta stood up for her thinking she’s just a bit ignorant and she isn’t a terrible person all things considered (mostly because I cherished her books)… But the more and more she hurts actual people with her bigotry, the more and more she outright allies herself with hate groups (hate groups that blatantly choose hurting transwomen over helping ciswomen), the more and more any appreciation I had for her is being eclipsed.
So, yeah, I hope @Skide can forgive me for that, as I seem to remember a minor argument we had over that one time.
I also want to come out and say that I do NOT blame trans activists like Jessie Earl for the whole “Hogwarts Legacy boycotting debacle”, as much as I was looking forward to the game myself. I do however blame Rowling for it because she insists on being a hateful bigot and started it all.

I certainly hold no grudge. As for the game, the transphobic author is just the tip of the shitberg, so to speak… You’ve the whole goblins=teh jooz with the date of the goblin rebellion apparently coinciding with an actual pogrom in europe and much, much more. Also Sirona Ryan, glad to see JKs offensive naming practices are still well alive and kicking!
Rowling is AntiSemitic. Her presentation of Jews in the book is described as how Christian Identity and other anti semites portray Jews. Oh and Mudblood sounds an AWFUL lot like mud people which same groups portray non whites.

First of all, the Attorney General is Suella B raverman. It says so in the article linked in your post, alexbloodfire.
Secondly, it is always disheartening to see a politician punching down in their public remarks. But Braverman is a conservative and that seems to hold true for them on both sides of the pond.
