Our older generations were wise to allow only males to vote. They knew females are easily tricked into voting for total frauds and traitors.
There were two common reasons (in the US at least, not sure about elsewhere) given as to why women weren’t allowed to vote: One, it was taken as given by some people that most women would just obey their fathers (if unmarried) or husbands (if married) thus effectively giving those men two votes, making it “unfair” for unmarried men. (And on the occasion when they didn’t, it would be effectively giving those men zero votes instead, which is “unfair” to their father or husband.) The other was that US interests hinged on warfare and colonization, and that women would be more likely to vote against such things (moral issues aside, it was ironically not even true enough to matter much).
These days, most of the objections come from the place of “manz is lawjick! womanz is eemoshun!” by men who are overly emotional and wouldn’t recognize logic if it waved a sign in their face saying “hi! I’m logic”. With occasional side servings of both men and women who are all “women can only be happy if they’re forced into submission, and submission includes no voting” and get real weird about imposing their particular fetish on others.
