Republican Rep. Andy Ogles of Tennessee said Tuesday that "we should kill 'em all" after an activist pressed him to respond to atrocities that the U.S.-backed Israeli military is committing against Palestinians in Gaza, including children.

"I've seen the footage of shredded children's bodies," the activist told Ogles. "That's my taxpayer dollars that are going to bomb those kids."

"You know what? So, I think we should kill 'em all, if that makes you feel better," Ogles responded. "Hamas and the Palestinians have been attacking Israel for 20 years. It's time to pay the piper."

Wait… the activist is criticising the Palestinian child casualities… which makes this even worse…

Given how callous are sectors of the GOP against their own countrymen, I’m unfortunately not surprised to see them being even more callous against foreigners, especially non-White and non-Christian ones.

And unfortunately, Ogles will not suffer consequences for his call to genocide - and this call of genocide will be memory holed for the following week.

Remember this statement whenever a woman dies from complications because “abortion is murder.” Remember this statement when the alarms are raised about whatever nebulous threat is out for your children, or that there is knowledge and history they need to be “protected” from. Remember this statement during the next sermon declaring the Godless immorality that will drown the world in blood and depravity if not for those who stand for the traditional family, the moral society, and the cornerstones of law.

Remember this statement. Remember that this is their true face under the disingenuous appeals to emotion, empathy, ethics, and the basic humanity that is steadily becoming alien to them but they appeal to them anyway because it can get them what they want.

“If it makes you feel better” …that’s a pretty strange thing to assume of someone who asks you that question.

And Israel has been bombing Gaza for just as long. Hamas is horrible, they are terrorists. They don't care about the Palestinian people. All they care about is power. We should not treat all Palestinians the same as Hamas.

The situation in Gaza is a nightmare, and each side accusing the other of being the villain in this tragedy is POINTLESS. Stop the destruction of people and property while there are people left alive to save.

If Israel succeeds in carrying out a genocide, it may also succeed in destroying its alliance with the U.S. How will it survive then?

As for Rep. Ogles, in the words of the Talibangelicals, "Hell will be hot enough."
