Still waiting for American “feminists” to protest against the oppression of women in Middle Eastern countries, where women cannot drive, vote, own property, run for office, or speak freely
They stay strangely silent in the face of this horror

They do. All the time. But there is a reason why American feminists focus on America. Because this is their country. It's not hard to understand.
Why do American Christians focus on the United states and not Middle Eastern countries where Christians are truely being persecuted? Simple. Same damned reason.
From what I've seen, whenever a feminist brings those issues up, they're met with variations of "well that's not our country so who cares stfu". You never care about Middle Eastern women and their rights unless they make a good weapon against Western feminists.
The political/diplomatic/economic pressure that can be put upon certain countries by Angela Merkel, Jacinda Ardern, Kamala Harris...!
Still waiting for the likes of you to undo what was done before 12 midday 20th January 2021. Oh, wait: 6/1.
(*Crickets chirp *)
Where the hell does the lie that Western feminists don’t care about misogyny in the Middle East come from?
Also, can we have him fight to the death with some antisemite/RT-bot/incel who believes that civil rights movements in the Second and Third World are astroturfed cultural imperialism by (((the West)))?
It’s hard to say anything which would be effective, considering those countries have power with all their oil wealth. Maybe they need some more of their own homegrown feminists, like Mona Eltahawy - whose tour here was certainly revolutionary.

When the Shah fell, and the Ayatollah started restricting women’s rights, opportunities, privileges, American feminists got arrested right and left for protesting. Some got jailed some got deported.
