Because this generation has been deceived to believe that homosexuality is just another way to love someone. They also believe that some are born as homosexuals and this is their only means of expressing their love. So people and even some Christians feel sorry for them.
First of all, no one is born attracted to any sex, as sexual attraction does not begin in anyone younger than a year old. Someone may or may not be born with that tendency, but they certainly are not born as a homosexual. Well guess what, we are all born with a tendency of some sin or another, but that does not mean we should engage in it.
Second of all, homosexuality is not love! Let me say it again, homosexuality is not love! The name itself tells you what it is about, which is sex! That's why part of the deception was to cleverly change the name "homosexual" to "gay".
Look I don't care if two guys love each other and I don't even care if they live together as long as they don't engage in sex or passion. There are actually a number of heterosexual men that love each other and live together. No problem with that. If two so called homosexuals love each other and want to live together without passion or sex. No problem with that either.
So to me the biggest reason there has been such a swing to accepting homosexuals is deception.

Heterosexuality is not love! Let me say it again, heterosexuality is not love! The name itself tells you what it is about, which is sex! That's why part of the deception was to cleverly change the name "heterosexual" to "straight".
How does it sound now, Goodboy?
Someone may or may not be born with that tendency, but they certainly are not born as a homosexual.
Nice cognitive dissonance. From one end of the sentence to the other he completely changes his mind.
we are all born with a tendency of some sin or another
Would be way more persuasive if the notion of sin was anything other than bullcrap, cooked by generations of religious arseholes to keep control of their flock.

So, what do we do about heterosexuality? I swear, these people never think about the words they use and how they relate to each other.
Look I don't care if two guys love each other and I don't even care if they live together as long as they don't engage in sex or passion.
Thanks for clarifying that what bothers fundies is the image of two men having sex. I suppose two women having sex is no issue, by what these idiots believe.
If you do not like that image, look elsewhere. If it does not cause you any damage, live and let live.
Why feel sorry for them? For them, that is normal, they know no other way. As long as there are no homophobes persecuting them, their lives can be as happy as anyone else's.
So people and even some Christians feel sorry for them.
Christians are not people?
Sin is an arbitrary concept, and is only valid for people who believe in it.
Let me say it again, homosexuality is not love!
If so, heterosexuality is not love either.
Gay is not the official name, dolt, it's slang, shorter and easier to say than ho-mo-sex-u-a-li-ty.
If you really don't care, why are you writing this in the first place?
Oh, you DO care. You care so much you can't stop thinking about it!
Why should THEY not engage in sex or passion? Don't YOU include sex and passion in YOUR love?
You finding gay sex icky is no reason for them not to engage in it. Most people find the thought of their parents having sex very icky, but that is no reason to prohibit straight people from have sex for procreative reasons.
Amazing that he missed a point that 3 people in a row made in less than 2 hours, and now another one.
If homosex uality is not about love, but rather about sex, then obvious so is heterosex uality. This means your real argument is all sex is sin, which makes me wonder why the focus only on homosexuality.

Chorea Huntington is a genetic disease that destroys the brain and is always fatal. It is dominant, meaning that, if you have the gene, you WILL get it, and any child of yours has a 50% to have it as well. It manifests in middle age, when you most likely have already reproduced and proliferated the disease to some of your children. Even though it only manifests much later in life, Chorea Huntington is something you are born with.
I do not know or care much about the aethiology of homosexuality, nor do I think it matters in regards to its moralty. I think it may very well be more complicated than simply being "born this way". Still, as far as I know, homosexuals are attracted to their own sex from the beginning of puberty and often even have pre-sexual same-sex crushes too, and you cannot change your sexual orientation by conscious decision. I, for one, have never decided to be heterosexual; I just am. Of course, some homosexuals go into denial, which I suspect is what is really behind the idea behind homosexuality being a choice.

Love without passion? Also, why is passion wrong? I thought it was just the icky gay sex the Bible prohibits.
"as long as they don't engage in sex or passion"
Yes, that's what the problem is, isn't it? These people just don't want other people to have sex.
Regarding K'Zad Bhat's point, I reckon he actually does hold the same views with heterosexuals, if they aren't married. Or Christians. Or Christians in his own church.
"Look I don't care if two guys love each other and I don't even care if they live together as long as they don't engage in sex or passion."
What? Tell me, when is it EVER socially permissible for one person to tell another person not to have passion? What possible right do you have to veto the sex life of another adult that you've never even met? How well would you accept that from someone else, some stranger on the street, who dictated to you how you and your wife should conduct their intimate behavior with each other?
You are a sad, sick individual.
David & Jonathan.
Your move, (C)Raptards.
OMG! You're the one who showed up last week with a clipboard and Morality Patrol badge, asking questions about whether I was in charge of the household and what our preferred sexual positions were. When the police showed up to arrest you for trespassing, you claimed your belief in the Bible gave you the authority to check all the neighbors. I'll be testifying at your trial.
The name itself tells you what it is about, which is sex!
I be having question: you go school? You learning the English?
When a formular you have to fill out has a slot "sex [m]/[f]", do you cross both out and answer "sure, let's go!"?
Just for you, let's call it "same-genderism". Btw, homogeneous milk will now be called "made-to-be-one"-milk (= mixed and prepared so it won't separate into its components, like it used to), just for you. You can have righteous, christian "heterogeneous" milk if your like, but you'll find it watery at the top and thick at the bottom, kind of like your Saint Trump.
Second of all, Christianity is not love! Let me say it again, Christianity is not love! The name itself tells you what it is about, which is hate! That's why part of the deception was to cleverly change the name "hate" to "Christianity".
There, fixed it for you.
So...it's poofter bashing week @ the Rupture Forums. That's OK, we're celebrating Pride Month @ the moment, in the lead-up to this year's Gay Mardi Gras.

Oh, that's cognitive dissonance there. Besides, as the song says, baby I don't need your love.
Confused?
