Or, you know, the main reason why people are not vaccinate, far outnumbering the rare legitimate medical exemptions, is because they/their parents have fringe conspirationist beliefs deeply rooted in an inability/unwillingness to accept a “freak” child - a root shared with heteronormativity. Therefore, it would be reasonable to consider that unvaccinated people are also more likely to repress queerness than the general population.

I’ve heard about it in reference to interdicting COVID-19, but not with evoking non-cishet. But Bastethotep’s phrasing was putting me in mind of the “Why bother with consistent grooming?” retinue, like several incels and Wotans Krieger.
