I always thought it would be cool to have the government collapse and watch all the dependent normies panic while people who can take care of themselves dominate. Imagine women trying to survive in this world with their only skill being that they can reproduce in an anarchy not very helpful when the basic needs of survival arent being met. Im already semi preparing even though I doubt it would happen I bought some night vision and starting to learn some outdoor survival skills kinda fun ngl.

Extremely few people are going to be able to take care of themselves and be comfortable if there is no government whatssoever. Can you imagine if we couldn't get food from California to say Kansas or Arizona in wintertime? Or if we couldn't get basic medical devices to where they were needed? Or if our water purifying systems stopped working because necessary workers couldn't get to where they were located to fix them? I can't see why anyone would want to root for the government to collapse.

No, of course we don’t wish that! That would be the end of the world as we know it; the end of the Internet, of computers, electricity, water closets, infrastructure, economic order, equality and human rights. (Yeah, I know you don’t care for the last two, but are you willing to sacrifice EVERYTHING ELSE for the chance to oppress women? You know that you have to actually be stronger than most women to pull that off, right?)

The “dependent” normies would still be the stronger people, the ones who can take care of themselves, AND OTHERS (which will be very important). Most people, men AND women, will be joining the ones that can organize a new society. Only thuggish men will join the brutish assholes intent on further destruction.

If you think women’s only skill is reproducing, you’ll be VERY HUNGRY in the after-collapse. Not to mention dirty and smelly and alone.

Do you have any idea which plants you can eat, how to grow vegetables and fruits, how you know whether the water you see before you is fresh, how to find or make warm and dry shelter?

Semi prepared? How? A gun will quickly be taken away from you, as would a “night vision”. Outdoor survival skills? What would those be? Tying knots, marching in line, yelling “Always Be Prepared”? Can you start a fire? Gut a rabbit or fish? Season said animal and cook it properly, to keep you from food-poisoning? You did know that salt, herbs and spices are not just making food taste nice, but also preserve it, making it edible for longer, right?

Imagine LitVirgin trying to survive once Mommy stops bringing his Hot Pockets down to the basement.

By having bought night vision, you mean night vision goggles, correct? If I recall correctly, those require electricity, right? Usually provided by batteries. So, tell me, what do you do when your NV goggles’ battery dies? Without a government, the infrastructure to get those batteries on the store shelves breaks down. Oh, and if you printed out how to make your own batteries … yeah, try that with such a sophisticated device, tell me how it works out. This is going to be fun!

Well, I guess you’re hoping the collapse of civilization doesn’t happen until you learn all of those outdoor survival skills, huh? By the way, “outdoor survival” doesn’t mean a tent in your backyard. You better start planning how you’re going to get you and your equipment from your mommy’s house to actual wilderness.

People who fantasize about the collapse of civilization are generally those who also fantasize about being marauders. Of course, they don’t take in consideration that most wannabe marauders will have short lifespans. The easy targets won’t have much to steal and you’ll run out of them quickly, because they joined up with stronger groups or were killed by other marauders or starved to death. The medium-difficulty targets will kill off most of you off by attrition (you’ll lose a member or two sometimes during raids) and if you accidentally hit a hard target, you’re screwed. You can’t really do this alone, so there’s also a risk of fatal intra-group conflict, because anyone who is truly willing to take the path of the marauder is likely to be an uncooperatively egotistic and/or murderous psycho. Yes, there will be warlords in some regions eventually, but if you’re an out-of-shape internet whiner with no weapons experience (Call of Duty doesn’t count) don’t expect to survive long enough to join their army, or to be anything more than cannon fodder if you do. And that’s assuming that nobody in your area “tries to be a PC”, i.e. a dedicated marauder-killer, in which case congratulations, you’re a wandering monster who exists to die so the heroes can gain XP.
