In school, the German people are slandered and lied about by the Jewish establishment, who claim that they killed 6 million Jews and 5 million others. When it comes up in school, students should ask the teacher, 'if it happened why aren't people allowed to research it in Europe'?

As a man with some German ancestry (though mostly Italian) I find it deeply insulting when people lie about my relatives. Perhaps those of German ancestry could also make that argument?

It's worse then that. It's the truth. A dark truth is far worse then a lie. Who wants to believe that their ancestors tried to wipe out the followers of a religion? Who wants to believe they enslaved other humans? No one wants to believe it but we have accept the dark truths.

Of course, there is research on the Holocaust! What is illegal is denialism and manufactruversy, due to the aggreviating factor that the denied truth in question being an exceptionally atrocious genocide (I also believe that ALL atrocity denialism should be illegal).

Whatever you say, Dumkopf. Either you don’t want to accept that the Holocaust took place, or else you think it’s a good thing, same as what the Italians did under Mussolini. Same as I don’t like to accept that white settlers committed genocide against First Nations people, here and in the Americas, but I have to accept that history of genocide is true, same as the Holocaust.

There's books in libraries, online resources, and museums dedicated to the Holocaust. Who the hell says you can't research it? Granted of course, you're not researching with an agenda and read credible sources.

Germans aren't being slandered by teaching their history as it in fact happened. Especially since it heavily influenced the last 70 years.

NAZI GERMANY is accused of killing millions of people during the Holocaust. The German people were brainwashed with antisemitism, made to see these “undesirables” as vermin, invaders, secretly ruling the world. Pretty similar to how today’s Neo-Nazis and fascists are portraying Muslims.

People research this ALL THE TIME in Europe. There are museums and monuments all over Europe, in almost every country. We are not only allowed; we are ENCOURAGED to learn more about it, to try to keep it from happening again. The more who know about it, the harder it is for Neo-Nazis to spout the same lies and slander all over again.

Italians were in on the fascism and genocide during WWII too. Perhaps you ought to think about why your ancestors left Germany and Italy.

I’m not of German ancestry, I’m Swedish, for several generations. The truth is that the Swedish war government let Nazi armies march through Sweden to invade Norway. My ancestors* did this, it’s horrible, I can’t change it, and it’s still the truth. The only thing we can do now, is to educate people about what happened, and hopefully keep enough people from being brainwashed by the ultra-right-wing fascists and Neo-Nazis.

* Not my personal ancestors; I have no relatives with that high authority, as far as I know. But Swedish people did this, so they are mine by association.

This, this is why I think holocaust deniers are utter scum and why proper education is so friggin’ important. Because I am genuinly terrified that with the orange monster’s idiocy (and that of his brownnosers), we’ll see another world war break out for the same asinine reasons as the previous ones. Innocent people didn’t sacrifice themselves just so you jerks could start it all over again!

And yes, as a child I was repeatedly brought on tours to old holocaust forts & museums by school. We visited the Anne Frank house once on a field trip, and they made it abundantly clear how inhumanly terrible the WWs were. ESPECIALLY for those who didn’t want it, and got stuck in between. We also visited the site of the Battle of Ypres once, and the tour guide didn’t mince words on how terrible those soldiers, victims of mustard gas and all, suffered. But of course, how could you ever know or empathize? Living in willful ignorant comfort, mocking those who suffered so you could thrive.

Pretty much what everyone else says, but I want to personally state that I hate being ‘cared for’ this way by holocaust deniers. No, you fucking scumbag, I don’t need and I don’t want to be defended by you and just because I’m german I don’t feel insulted at all by the truth that the holocaust happened. Nazi scum will never rule Germany again and commit atrocities like this!
