This is what I worry about. Are we going to have to say that "2 + 2 = 5" someday? Just how far can these people push absurdities on us?
People in swing states need to vote for Harris.

Exactly. Gender ideology isn’t a “single issue” because it is actually about whether or not we recognize reality and truth. I will probably vote for Harris, because the Republicans also refuse to recognize reality on certain issues (particularly the environment), but I am tired of gender ideology being treated in such a dismissive reductive way on this site, of all places, and being shamed, as a woman, by other women, for thinking it is much bigger than that.

Seriously. The few people who know my entire terfy stance still don't understand my political dilemma (I'm in Canada, but will be facing a similar choice soonish). If I mention something about how it's going to be impossible to know what to do, they look at me like I'm completely crazy, like trans-ideology is a super niche and somewhat silly thing to factor in. Then I say something emotional about the rights of an entire half of the population, or compelled speech, or acknowledging the simple truth... then I tear up and my lack of sanity is confirmed for the other person. It's enough to actually drive me crazy!

A vote for Harris is a vote for 2 + 2 = 5 though.

Yep. At least I can still tell the anti abortion republicans that they’re fucked. The Democratic Party is pushing for things like thoughtcrimes. Pass!

I don't think this is really happening. I'll believe it when I see it.

Me! I’m not voting for Harris due to gender ideology. My whole family as well.

Yeah, same. I'd rather refight the abortion issue than have to, you know, fight to have reality acknowledged by the federal government.
