Sadly schools are transitioning gay or non conforming kids as well as kids with trauma, kids with ASD and mentally unstable kids. In other words vulnerable children.

You mean that you didn’t hear about it in feargasm headlines until recently. Or you choose not to remember those you did hear about.

Yet more of the “combustible mixture of ignorance and power” threatening to blow up in all our faces.

Schools aren’t transitioning anyone, they are giving kids a place where they feel safe to express themselves. Because obviously these kids don’t feel safe to do this at home.

There have always been trans kids, your church group hadn’t heard of it so you weren’t up in arms.

It’s really unfortunate that y’all can only love your children if they pretend to be what you want them to be, rather than allowing them to be who they are.

Sometimes it feels like talking with children. If they are not aware of something then it doesn’t exist. If they can shove it in a closet and don’t have to think about it then it goes back to not existing.

Reality won't change just because it makes you uncomfortable. And you can't deny it forever.

Noone is shoving it down people's throats, it's just the reality you're denying. Thus, you trying to force them to be what you decide they should be. And ritually pushing hate speech about anyone who understands their reality better than you do.
