Lessons Learned and Fighting Back
Post-pandemic realizations:
• Viruses can be treated.
• We have a lot to learn about vaccines.
• Most doctors are not that good, many are evil. Lawyers are protectors.
• The FDA and CDC are led by politically-appointed tyrants corrupted by BigPharma.
• Politics is ingrained in our healthcare system. We can’t ignore the politics.
• There are no coincidences.

• There are no coincidences.
I don’t even totally get what they’re trying to say with that, in the context of this post…but that’s a saying that’s always just annoyed me to no end. There are no coincidences? Bullshit, there are coincidences all the damn time! Because we live on a planet with like 8 billion people doing various stuff around the clock, there’s just bound to be some instances where, from someone’s certain perspective, things seem to “line up” or well, even “coincide”. Sometimes, maybe even quite often, that happens without any greater meaning behind it.
To mention one example I know of, because I’m a huge fan of one the teams that was involved (go Blue!)…in 2006, Michigan played Ohio State in a hotly anticipated game in their long-standing college football rivalry (said by some to be the best rivalry not only in college football, but in all of American sports, college or pro!). In the end, Ohio State beat Michigan by the score of 42-39. The funny part is that the winning four-digit number for Ohio’s state lottery was announced shortly after the game was over ….and maybe you can guess where this is going…it was 4-2-3-9. Is it really that hard to believe that that was just a random thing that happened, or do you have to ascribe some deeper meaning to it?
• Viruses can be treated.
This is a post "pandemic" realization? Like how we've made huge progress in dealing with polio, rubella, whooping cough, measles, and others before your anti-vax movement has led to a resurgence in them?
• We have a lot to learn about vaccines.
Thats true of pretty much any field. We've a lot to learn, but we also know a whole lot.
• Most doctors are not that good, many are evil. Lawyers are protectors.
Lawyers "can be" protectors. And most doctors are fine. Like the ones who refuse to treat patients or prescribe horse dewormer for religious reasons.
• The FDA and CDC are led by politically-appointed tyrants corrupted by BigPharma.
While Big Pharma does have influence over organizations, Big Pharma is also committed to keeping people alive. Can't milk a profit from corpses. And more issues are caused by people not going through either organization. Any corruption aside they at least don't give you snake oil or poison as a cure all.
• Politics is ingrained in our healthcare system. We can’t ignore the politics.
Mostly because the Right Wing hates people and think any form of health care that doesn't cost a whole lot is terrible.
• There are no coincidences
Why would that be a thing you learned from the pandemic? Either you already thought this or you believe coincidences can happen. The pandemic shouldn't change that view. What, would you say this is all a plot from Obama because he made fun of a notoriously petty and vindictive spray tan enthusiast? He knew Trump would win and then mishandle the FUCK out the next big crisis?
• We can be treated.
• Viruses have a lot to learn about politics.
• Most doctors are not that good, many are lawyers. Protectors are evil.
• The Big DAD and CFC are led by politically-corrupted tyrants appointed by the Pharma.
• Politics is ingrained in vaccines. We can’t ignore our coincidence.
• There are no healthcare systems.
What we learned from the pandemic:
- Opportunistic agitators
- Fascist oil regime corruption agents trying to retrograde society
- Conspiracy theories and disinformation abuse
- Institutional distrust propaganda
- Fringe groups trying to mainstream their exploitative bullshit
- Crimes against humanity normalization propaganda
- Erosion of education
- Post-truth populism, politicizing everything and wanting to dictate anti-knowledge
- Neocolonialism
- Quackery
- Kirsch's business
“There are no coincidences.” This statement always indicates a belief in agenticity (even if one doesn’t know the name of it) - the idea that if something happened, someone meant it to happen that way. Common side effects of this include blaming random failures on other people’s malice. It’s one of the two main gateways to conspiracy theory, the other being paranoia. (Persecution complex is a form of paranoia.) It’s also every bit as much magical thinking as Animism, the idea that even inanimate objects are alive in some sense and possess a soul.
I’m not sure if the opposite has a specific name (though it’s a form of learned helplessness) but they are clearly in no danger of that. A healthy, competent person finds a good balance between the two extremes.

Hence conspirituality.
• Viruses can be treated.
This is true and we always knew that.
• We have a lot to learn about vaccines.
This is true, we could always learn more about vaccines. Does t mean they don't work as a treatment to viruses. They do work.
• Most doctors are not that good, many are evil. Lawyers are protectors.
Most doctors are good. There are some evil ones but they are the minority. Some lawyers are protectors, but some are evil.
• The FDA and CDC are led by politically-appointed tyrants corrupted by BigPharma.
Wrong.
• Politics is ingrained in our healthcare system. We can’t ignore the politics.
True, but that's not a bad thing. However if your political position is that modern medicine is bad that's your problem. Not mine.
• There are no coincidences.
Yes there are.
Confused?
