The fascinating thing is that this idiot’s argument is the same one Hitler used in “Mein Kampf” to show that it wasn’t basic and irrational antisemitism that drove him, oh no, it was all based on meticulous research he had conducted over years in Vienna, struggling with himself about whether a jewish conspiracy existed, reading and informing himself about every side of the debate before coming to the inevitable conclusion that the jews were in fact behind modern societies ills.

Yeah right. His roommate in Vienna told a whole different story, about Hitler more or less immediately siding with the rampant antisemite propaganda in Vienna without even thinking twice about it. The fact that he claims to have read everything he could about the subject but exclusively cited known antisemites in his tract and the fact that Hitler loved to edit his own biography to make it better propaganda material (he also wrote that he was poor and had to work hard in Vienna when in fact he got a nice pension so high for a few years that he couldn’t possibly have had financial difficulties and probably never went to work for as long as he had it) pretty much proves that.

To the point: Fascists (like many extreme ideologies) love to edit their own history and claim to have higher intellectual and critical skills than anyone else, when in fact people like Hitler and U-94 prove the exact opposite. As a German with sadly quite a few Nazis in my family tree I can only say: Fuck off with your inane historical revisionism!

So here we actually have three biased people, of which I’m fairly certain two are fascists (making any kind of claim about eroding and damaging societies already hypocritical at best).

The first one asks the most obvious question and seems to be the most rational of the three (observe though that he still buys into alt-right talking points like “They want to censor us!” and “Queer equals pedophile more often than not!”). But he at least seems to get that transpersons can’t possibly have an effect on yourself aside from the simple fact that you have to accept that they are human beings with the same rights as he has.

obersturmfuhrer (lovely name of course, totally not a nazi) says that the first person rationalizes “despicable” behaviour and doesn’t even get that he himself is (in danger of repeating myself here) a fucking nazi, which have destroyed millions of lives. But oh, do tell us about the danger of children believing that transpersons are normal human beings with a slight biological difference. Oh and the part with the delusions is once again rich stemming from someone following an ideology that is clearly and logically self-defeating!

Then we have SoyBugDestroyer (hint: I’m pretty sure his nickname is not about him exterminating bugs for a living) who is so fucking clueless, he actually believes that sexual dimorphism is a vital part of society and a COUNTERPOINT to transsexuals being á normal variation of humanity, when in fact it’s the cause of it (since without sexual dimorphism we wouldn’t have differing brain structures). Bringing up social standards is also inane, since those have been changing since the dawn of mankind (for example scientists now believe hunter-gatherer societies to having been very egalitarian, and patriarchism being a side product of an agrarian lifestyle). Laws can also be changed and aren’t set in stone. Your family isn’t negatively effected by transpeople having the right to live as they choose.

And so you have it: Clueless people talking about things they barely understand, while at the same time trying to force society to cater to their whims and prejudices only. What a load.

Guess. This whole “transage” thing was from what I remember invented directly to mock transgender individuals (like that stupid “I identify as an Apache helicopter!” joke). Problem is: There is no such thing. You can feel as old or as young as you like and no one blames people for using plastic surgery to uphold their “age identity”. The biological age is sadly something we can’t do anything about and we need to know for certain medical reasons, and it has nothing to do with “age roles” or something like that. There is no real stigma in trying to not be as old as your body age is what I’m saying. There is also no evidence for a biological basis for transage, when it is pretty clear that there is some for transgender people. So no, this is just another lame attempt to discredit people and uphold stupid misconceptions.

Wow, for a historian he pushes so many age-old debunked racialist myths that I’m really doubting his expertise in the area:

First of: Germany was for the longest time not a singular culture, much less a single ethnicity. In fact I’d argue that Germany has always been kind of the melting pot of Europe, being a central state on the continent which has split and rejoined into different states multiple times over the course of its history, not to mention that it has seen multiple migration periods during its time. In short: There is no such thing as an “ethnic German”.
Secondly: While it is true that migrants usually take some time to integrate themselves into society, it has also been shown that societies acceptance of them directly leads to lower birth-rates, higher education of the following generation and lesser chances of the development of parallel societies. Of course, if every German had Paulwitz’s attitude, his ideas would become self-fulfilling prophecies.
Third: No, even though he implies that, there are no biological differences (or intellectual ones) that stop migrants from assimilating into society.
Fourth: “ It’s surprising that citizens have begun to fight it at the ballot, but more surprising is that so few are doing so.” Ah the age-old fascist belief that in secret everyone thinks like they do. Let me guess, instead of reasoning that the logical conclusion is that in reality not that many people think like you do, Paulwitz, you instead believe that it is some vast conspiracy or something? Because that’s were these kind of statements usually lead to.

As a German I hate pseudo-intellectual pricks like these who think that they speak for us all.

So much wrong in these statements, it’s not even funny. Bisexuals were never a thing? Says who? My boyfriend is (though he tends more towards being attracted to men). A friend of mine is in a relationship with a transman (and was in several relationships with women before that).
That certain feminists and lesbians (but also other queer people) are so vehemently anti-trans is a disgrace in my opinion, worse if they actually ally themselves with the fucking alt-right to do so. How do you “virtue signal” by being trans? I don’t get it.

He totally misinterprets the whole “failed universes” thing (for instance, none of them “fail”, life is not the qualifier for a “successful universe”), and he also forgets the weak anthropic principle: The statistical wonder of our universe being “fine-tuned” to life is nothing more than selection bias on our part, because we are living and sentient organisms who exist and therefore the universe has to be like it is, else we wouldn’t exist and couldn’t ask ourselves why it seems to be fine-tuned to us. It is therefore pointless to argue for a god by using a hypothetical multiverse as proof (which would make god look pretty inept anyway, seeing as he had to try soo many times to get it right).

Ok, I know this might sound like a long shot, but could it be that perhaps you are the problem here? Dating apps (which I also use since I'm too introvert to go into any gay bars) are always very surface level. Yes, there are a few diamonds in the rough, but most people won't put their political ideals in their profile for example.

You believing that such surface level interactions allow you to instantly know the other person you are talking to doesn't speak well for your character. Perhaps they don't really let the conversation get deeper because of mistakes by you, not by the girl. But of course, that would mean that you were to blame and we can't have that, right? Sigh.

Look up the tolerance paradoxon. Karl Popper made very clear when he talked about it that tolerance can't include tolerating intolerance, because this will inevitably lead to the destruction of tolerance itself. Therefore no, I can't tolerate homophobia, because while I might tolerate them, they will never tolerate me and try to make others look at me like they do. And this in turn will lead to intolerance becoming the norm. It might sound contradictory, but we have to accept the paradoxical nature of tolerance if we want to have any form of peaceful society.

How strange. I've actually studied two STEM university courses in my life (physics, unsuccessfully sadly and biology) and in neither I felt like my gender or that of the other students had anything to do with how much success we had (or how much it was appreciated). There were women who failed, women who excelled, men who failed and men who excelled. And of course the majority of both were around average. In fact these stories seem very fishy. 102⁄100 with extra credit and feels less appreciated because someone a bit less successful was congratulated for working hard? I feel like there is a huge chunk of the story missing (if it wasn't a pure fantasy product to begin with). Also all of these apparent geniuses seem to need everyone to bow before them because of their achievements. Guess what, that's not how the world works! I've had great grades during my master studies, and the only people who congratulated me on that was my family and close friends. And that was fine! Internalise your achievements, don't constantly crave the attention of everyone around you. If you can't get a good job with such achievements then there is something else that stops you, and its definutely not the nebulous power of evil vaginas!

You probably mean “on average stronger” because women aren’t all physically weaker as every men (this is just not true even though sexists spread this myth all the time). And no, it would probably not change much. The problem here is that men can reproduce more often than women, meaning that in a closely associated agricultural society men sooner or later try to gather as many resources and impregnate as many women as they can. That in turn means that any women in that society has less relationships to anyone else than the men do, which in turn gives them more influence over the community as a whole.
From what I remember most matriarchal societies either are hunter-gatherers or have very strict rules when it comes to who can marry who.

And your conclusion doesn’t take into account that you are trying to outline a contradiction between premise 1. and 2. (the irish government says something but does something else). Yet your conclusion (that environmentalism == population replacement) would suggest that premise one and two follow up on each other (we reduce environmental impact BY importing millions of people…) which is a) illogical and b) isn’t a contradiction. 1) How do you treat the homeless and poor? Do you help them in any way you can? Or do you want “dirty hobos” off the street and constantly claim that poor people “should just get a job and not take your tax money”?
2) Do you treat born life equally to unborn life (as is one of the central tenets of “pro-life” ideology)? Or are you instead care enormously for a fetus and not at all for the born baby or how it will fair in a world where for example its mother can’t love it because it was conceived by rape?
3) Are you really caring for the unborn life? Or are you just searching for a way to punish the woman for having sex and control her body?
4) Would you agree that men should take equal responsibility for this unborn life? And how would you enforce that? Or haven’t you even begun to think about the man’s responsibility and only about the woman’s?

Problem is, OP, that pro-lifers like you are very adamant about wanting to protect unborn life (which is not bad per se)… but many if not most of you actually don’t care for life at all, only searching for a way to put women back into place (and yes, women can try to do that just as well as men can). And THAT’S why we sometimes call you sociopaths.

2) Women DEFINITELY didn’t just sit around at home, they were pretty much equal to men in hunter-gatherer societies. Only with the advent of agriculture men suddenly had an advantage by accumulating resources (a women can only have so many children over her lifetime, while a man can take multiple wifes and therefore have many more children, strengthening his influence over a community which more and more consists of related men). 3) I would love to see your contribution to society and compare it to the works of oh, let’s just say Marie Curie, who gave her life for science and is the only person who ever got two nobel prices in a scientific field. Strangely enough I’d wager that you’ll probably be the one who seems to “want to consume” in relation to her or many other famous women.

I think someone is projecting a little here.

1) IQ is meaningless when it comes to measuring intelligence in general. It works for certain people and measures only certain abilities.
2) Racists always throw around IQ statistics as if they knew what they mean. From my experience they generally don’t.
3) Where do you even get this data? Did someone study racial differences between IQ? That would fail as a research question immediately, since there are no human races to speak of. Sounds like an argumentum ex culo to me.

Perhaps people not using such ridiculous arguments might help mitigate “racial” hatred. Think about that.
