If a tall woman was short, she'd still be a woman.
If a trans women wasn't trans, he'd be a man.

Guess which country performed the first successful womb transplant? Guess which country - along with China & Cuba - is at the forefront of Gene Therapy research?
Put both together and you’ve got your worst fucking nightmare, That Which Must Not Be Named.
If a person whose brain says they’re female looks down and sees a vagina, she’s comfortable, thus a cis-woman.
If a person whose brain says they’re female looks down and sees a penis, she’s not comfortable, thus a trans-woman.
How fucking hard is this to understand? I don’t even ask about agreeing with this, just grasping the fucking concept.
There are two possible interpretations of this. To simply things for the purpose of this conversation, let’s ignore non-binary identities. (Apologies to any enbies or others who might be reading this.) One is that “if a trans woman wasn’t trans, she’d be cis” (Or “normal”, as most transphobes would put it) like @Malingspann mentioned. Which is not a gotcha, and it would be utterly bizarre to then say she’d be a man. The other is that “If an (adult) AMAB person wasn’t trans, he’d be a man” which is also not a gotcha, and would imply that trans women are indeed women.
I suspect that JoKeR owling here is trying to imply that “trans” is some sort of genderflip modifier which can be gained or lost, and if one can lose their womanhood then they weren’t a real woman in the first place… but then you’d have to question whether that means that *anyone* can truly be a man or a woman, if said modifier can be gained or lost so easily. Which might even be the intended point, in which case the “solution” would likely be to legally define “trans” out of existence, so that people can definitely be men or women. Which would be about as effective as trying to fix global warming by legally defining CO₂ out of existence. But I suppose that makes sense to someone who sees “trans” as some sort of purely social and/or legal fiction.
Well she's right.
Oh and Rowling a masculine looking female boxer who was born female is a woman even if you wrongly accuse her of being a man.
No I will never drop the 2024 Olympics. Any good faith she might have once had ended there.
If anti-matter wasn’t anti-, it would be matter. I guess.
If a guinea pig wasn’t guinea, wait, that question makes no sense, because they aren’t pigs either way.
If a kick boxer didn’t kick, what would they do? They’re not going to become a “boxer” unless they start punching, because boxing is usually assumed to be “punch boxing” unless otherwise specified.
In other words, there’s nothing deep about JKR’s tweet. It’s just English being weird again.
Confused?
