The problem with leftist identity politics is that when you look at it very closely, it doesn’t really work.

Ah. Either a creationist or someone who ate paste during science class.
Homosexuality shows up in almost every species of animal on the planet. (The fact that butchers don’t filter for gay animals means you’ve certainly had gay meat inside you unless you’ve been vegetarian forever.) This means that either a species gains some benefit from having homosexuality in the population, or at least the fact of homosexuality is not a lethal trait.
Meaning that there’s either pressure to retain it, or absolutely zero pressure to reduce/remove it.
So we can accept the premise you’re trying to mock, that homosexuality is inborn, and still reject the conclusion you erroneously drew.
And we see you’re an idiot.
Oh but some homosexuals do have children, either from a prior straight relationship, or from sperm donors or surrogates. But if you think having children proves that someone is right - then you’re wrong.
@JFisher
Someone who might call a computer help desk about an overflowing toilet?
And when informed “Computer techs can’t help you with that! You need a plumber!” replies “But it’s the same thing! It’s FIXING STUFF!!”
Well, I do not follow the research on sexuality, but…
Yes, in so far as homosexuality is heridetary, it is reasonable to assume that extreme homophobia could lead to a greater prevalence of heritable components of homosexuality due to closeted homosexuals, and that a greater acceptance of homosexuality would consequently eventually counteract the decrease.
However, even if no homosexual were to reproduce, there would still be homosexuals, because homosexuals are born to heterosexuals all the time.
Even genetic disorders with pretty straightforward autosomal-dominant Mendelian inheritance with extremely low fitness due to child mortality and/or infertility do not go extinct due to de novo mutations. Homosexuality, on the other hand, is a spectrum phenomenon with a complex aetiology involving not only multiple genetic factors - where, in some cases, a predisposition towards homosexuality may be a fringe side effect to in most cases reproductively beneficial traits -, but also epigenetic, developmental, environmental etc. factors. Indeed, if I remember correctly, there is some research suggesting that homosexuality may be in part a countermeasure to overpopulation.
Confused?
