....Can you imagine if the Republicans stole a Presidential Election from the Democrats - All hell would break out. Republican leadership only wants the path of least resistance. Our leaders (not me, of course!) are pathetic. They only know how to lose! P.S. I got MANY Senators..

Needless to say, the IMPOTUS’s analysis is simply false on every level imaginable. There were 9 million voters in the state of PA, and 6,900,000 voted.

And, of course, even if this WAS true, who’s to say the extra votes weren’t fake Trump votes?

And why do people in the government ‘owe Trump favors’ if he helps get them elected? You’d think after four years, he’d realize this isn’t the mafia. Sheesh.

If there is so much evidence for all of this, then where is the hard proof? I know that your syphocants would never question your or the republican lawmaker’s word, but the rest of the world kinda needs these to believe you. You had ample chances to show that alleged voter fraught and did nothing with it.

Oh and George W. Bush winning under very dubious circumstances never caused Al Gore to make such an embarassing scene. Just for reference (I know the situation isn’t comparable 1:1 but still, under Trump’s definition this would be the Republicans ‘stealing’ the election from the democrats).

Really as a non American what the heck is with this time between vote and leaving? Isn’t it asking for trouble if you ask someone to fill in the highest position in a nation AFTER the people collectively showed in the door? I mean you wouldn’t want a security person around when he’s fired (for gross incompetence perhaps) not to mention a friggin president.

When the Constitution was written, it often took a person months to get to the capital by horse/ carriage, especially when bringing family and luggage.

I meant that it was most likely an artifact of history. I don't necessarily think that it makes sense or is all that relevant today.

When Donald Trump was removed from office, everyone was glad to finally be able to let him fall into the irrelevancy he had always deserved. Even his fanatical cultists forsook him for new charlatans promising simple solutions to complex or imaginary problems.

When he finally died, no one mourned him. And yet, it is said that, during the witching hour, a croaking whine can be heard on the graveyard where he was buried, still rambling about stolen elections and “winning big”.

It's normally not an issue, and even somewhat helpful as the outgoing administration continues to function while the newcomers get up to speed on the job. Not just the presidency but the enormous number of technical agency appointments.

The way the system works, the electoral college never meets as a single group. Rather, electors meet in each state separately in December to vote and then send those votes to congress. Congress then counts the votes and certifies the result of the presidential election. That happens in early January, I believe. So that would probably be the time to have everybody there. All these delays were once necessary to give time for mail and people to travel across the country. Really, what we need to do is just throw out that dumbass electoral college nonsense altogether and elect the president based on a popular vote. Because of the way amending our constitution works, changes like this are difficult to make.

Pence doesn’t have a choice. After the certification, Trump doesn’t really have options (real or imagined) to cling to. That’s when we should be concerned about him doing something truly nuts.

I think you failed to bring evidence for your claims in Pennsylvania courts, so we all know it’s part of the ramblings of a spoiled child who has been enabled by persons who should have been more responsible and who, for the first time, didn’t get what he wanted.

Again, if you have the evidence, bring it into court. That your lawyers, even one as shady as Giuliani, refuse to bring this so-called evidence, is pretty convincing evidence itself that what you say is bullshit.

No, the Republican leadership has almost entirely abandoned the President Reject, because he’s on the way out and can’t hurt them politically anymore. What he wants is a Republican leadership which will follow his every demand, and back his “I won but was cheated out of it” refrain.
